As with all the captivity successors, this will be viewed under such a lens.
Animations: 5/5
Top tier, dynamic animations with what feels like a surplus of variations and even put in a girl on girl animation in there? Amazing.
Art/Design: 5/5
The map art is just beautifully twisted, in line with the overall feel of the game and atmosphere. Enemies too are exotic and well designed with multiple design variations with their own animations as well.
Gameplay: 3/5
This is where I feel it suffers, game feels both too fast and too slow at the same time: you unlock your weapons right away within the first few waves which makes the rest feel like there is no progression for the other 15 waves I ended up doing.
Combat feels too easy and with a hint of clunky mechanics: Some enemies never damage you, the ones that do are so slow in their attack you can walk past them without needing to roll, the combat sex feels like it has no real consequence since you can both evade it easy with the 'left & right' mechanics posing no challenge and if it does end with a climax scene, the worst thing that happens is you might get a couple more enemies to deal with and maybe you lose some hp? If you did it was too little for me to notice.
Overall: 4/5
Keeping in mind the version I played was Demo_0.2.1: Best version of Captivity I have seen when it comes to animations, art and the overall enemy design, combat suffers but does what It's meant to do, 100% worth a try if you like this type of game, I can only see it getting better.
