I'm glad that you take into account the feedback from the community very few do it and I also agree that the MC must be changed
although to take advantage of pete's sprite I would recycle it as a secondary, for example, a kind of merchant or smuggler who sold you items to help you submit the princesses or weapons for combat (if any) or ship parts and things like that take advantage of the work done on it
I would also like that not only the few princesses of the kingdom hearts be limited to the game and that new worlds and goals to conquer be added over time even if they are not princesses like Kim's possible world or planets with marvel / star wars characters or X men final fantasy etc which is also part of the "kingdom hearts universe"

I really like the concept for this. It feels a little weird playing as Pete considering what's probably coming. Otherwise, I love the setup and the art. Kairi and Namine look great even though we only see them hiding naked behind the WIP sign.....which I keep bringing back up for some reason. Anyways, this could have great potential if it just incorporates more and more disney franchises and the FF stuff too.

Just make sure the new MC is a bad guy. Pete's personality fit well in this game because he's already a pre-established character (someone we are familiar with and don't need to learn about) and perverse things seems like something he'd do. It's harder to make a character from scratch believable.

I vote Hades, he even has a history as A)a bit skeevy, and B)manipulating women to his own ends. Plus he's a recurring KH villain.

And why does the MC has to be evil anyways? Cant he just want to make the girls lewder just to amass a harem? Or because he just likes to twist the girls moralities just for the contrast?
Well if we work for Malefic and Pete we are probably a bad guy. After maybe that we are one who want to use the power of hearts princesses to become the chief of darkness faction ?

Doesn't have to be anything, the dev simply wants to make that type of game, and I applaud him. There's already plenty of cutesy romance VNs put out by the Japanese that value morality and good character. I don't feel as if western VNs (if you can call them that) need to go that way.
Besides, 'twist the girls morality' sounds pretty evil to me. No idea how you'd implement that behavior onto a morally righteous character.

Arent they good by KH 3. Anyways you can always make it so Maleficent just helps you because it furters her agenda but not yours. Like in say Deviant Dungeon where the Maou just wants you to defeat the heroes and lets the MC do it however he wants which the MC uses to make a harem (You could even do that here with the MC then turning on her and make her his woman too).
There is plenty of japanese games with villain/rapist protags too so no reason why western games cant have as much cutesy as japanese games, besides the western scene is already filled to the brim with slave trainers so a more "vanilla" western game would make it stand out.
And i would say someone having a fetish is not evil, MC just wanting to corrupt girls to make them his isnt evil perse. My point is that the MC doesnt has ti be evil just because.
I didn't play KH 3 so I don't know. But from what i'm remember in the earlier versions she wanted the power of the queens of heart.
For the motivations of our character I don't know, we will have to wait more informations before discovers them.

I only played 1&2 and i dont remember her being particularly evil in 2, i dont think she was very evil in the series, more like she was the power hungry type (Maybe this was done around the future idea of making her a morally gray villain to fit her future movie's narrative)
But yeah lets see, its not like im opposed to him being evil (As long as it doesnt involve girl sharing), im just saying he doesnt has to be evil.
I think there are more with nice dudes mainly because of the moege genre which imo is not really about porn, in most porn centric games most contain rape or a form of sexual corruption.
Regardless im trying the western scene because i think it has potential and with most being 3dcg, which im really not a fan imo, this game having great art i look forward to it. And really as long as its only the OC MC having sex i really dont mind him if he is bad or good, im just questioning the notion that he HAS to be evil.
Lets hope Square or Disney dont mess with them.

But the picture on the site show a Kairi chained and pregnant and on his patreon the first picture that you can see is the hearts princesses chained. So, I suppose that our protagonist is evil, yes.

He doesn't gotta be evil. Nobody ever said he had to. Honestly, ever since Four Elements Trainer, I'm down for either. Good writing is, in and of itself, a good enough reason to play a game for me. But I still lean towards immoral protagonists, as do most of F95, I think.
