Considering a MacBook Air M3

I currently use a 2015ish MacBook Pro when I travel for my f95 gaming but I was thinking about getting a MacBook Air for weight and size factor. If anyone uses an Air, does it work well for you? I can’t imagine renpy games are too intensive for it but I don’t want to buy it and find out it’s awful.

I have an M1 air and I love it. Played lots of renpy games on it just fine.

Can someone explain to me as I don't have a Mac, how do you play Renpy games on it? Specifically games that are not made for mac. Do you run them in a windows virtual machine or some kind of emulator? Are there any instances of games failing?

You just have to right click on the icon for the game and choose show package contents. There's a launcher in one of the folders that a mac can recognize.
