Contemplating my first game creation...

So I've been thinking of making my own adult game for a while now... I'm pretty much thinking RPGM or Renpy... Haven't really decided which. I want a currency. I want the ability to make a few changes to the original character during character creation. I would also like a skill system of sorts to show progress through the story. However the most important decision I can't seem to make up my mind own is whether or not to use original art. I was an artist back in the day.. I've drawn a few comic books, and even submitted panel art to newspapers. I have an idea for what I'd like to show but don't think I'll be able to find such pictures or make them with CGI....
