Any good mods that actually add content/scenes/costumes, anything of 'substance' basically instead of translations and cheats, that you'd recommend?

I've never played the original, but the Silver mod for Witch Trainer is the definitive way to play the game now. I think most/all of his games have these big fanmade content-mods.
Nano-Control has a big content mod too. Contains optional loli, so you'll have to get it from Discord. Looks like the dev's other games are getting/have such mods too.
