Hello all!

I would like some help, if it's possible. I have Parkinson's and it's easier for me to use a controller, some of the Ren'Py games have full controller support, some have half support or none at all. Is there anything I can add to make a game have full controller support?

Not really no, unless you want to deep dive in the code. A lot of games - particularly sandboxes like to implement their own input methods, and at that point you're fucked.

There's other alternatives than a gamepad though, like trackballs which probably won't be affected nearly as much by any shaking. I personally also rebind the left mouse button to the mousewheel for Renpy games which makes playing them much more comfortable and use the autoforward mode liberally.

This might require a bit more setup if you don't mind doing it. But you can look for controller to keyboard remapper software. Below are link to free software that does that. I don't use any of these software so proceed with caution. If you need more information or want to look further into this option, do a search for the key word "keyboard to controller remap"

Here links to software I found through some quick search

This. I remember the sidewinder series had keymapping functions. (Fuck...just looked it up, 1995 to 2003)
