Controller or keyboard/mouse when playing adult games?

Contrller vs. keyboard/mouse when playing a-games? For me, I use a controller when playing RPGM games. I haven't really tried a controller for Ren'Py and Unity type of games.

I am just wondering if this is something that only I do or are there others who does the same... I haven't tried a controller for mobile games either...

Wireless controller for Wolf/rpg/m and also if possible Unity or others. For text-games I like to use auto feature for the text parts.

Using mouse too much will likely result in hand or even shoulder problems, I'd even rather use touchpad on the notebook.
With controller I can sit back however I want and no problem.

Hm. mine is wireless, too. Once tried there is no going back to cables everywhere. but I doubt the sit however I/you want. You need some surface to move the mouse against, and a certain resistance to click.
Unless trackball. I never had one.

Keyboard and mouse for sure! (y)

Because you know, you can't use a controller with one hand :HideThePain:

And why not simply a trackball? As simple and ergonomics than a mouse, and no needs to move your hand.

Oh I beg to differ, way easier to hold a controller with one hand and use the directional buttons and left trigger/bumper to confirm. Not a lot of VN support that though.

this message was typed with a screen keyboard by hovering the mouse in the air
how is that? a mouse with gyro sensors? camera observing your movements?

that'd be an option, but in my case, some normal optical mouses work a few cm above a surface (maybe more, but i haven't encountered any that did); for clicking, it's a matter of buttons without much resistance, mouse shape/weight and your grip style. i do use mini/travel mouses instead of the bulkier gamer ones, in case you're imagining the latter.

but the hovering is more of a trick. for practical use, it's hard to find surfaces within reach a mouse won't work on (desks/tables, sofas, floors, walls, carpets, furry blankets, pillows, clothes, bags, human body, a lazy pet, etc.) unless you're surrounded by glass and highly reflective surfaces.
this sentence was mouse-typed with the mouse hand behind my head.

more on topic, for all games either a keyboard, a mouse, a keyboard and a mouse, or a keyboard and a touchpad; depends on the game and how lazy i feel.

I prefer mouse cause it lets you click on things on the screen. That works well in adult games in my opinion. Touchscreen could be cool as well.
