The cops force you to go undercover in a sex shop or beauty parlor (can't remember), the female owner somehow figures out you are a rat and locks you in a cage in the basement.
It is just an event in the bigger game. I believe cops reasoning to choose you for the work was that you are new in town, you came here recently to live with your aunt and cousins(or mom and sisters, can't remember).
