HTML - Completed - Corrupted City [v1.1b Bugfix] [Aviary]

No content, no gameplay, false advertisement. Ends abruptly, mechanics and balance are non-existant, caracterbuilding is none, story is awfull. Cant say good thing about this game, it has a good idea but never been even close to deliver it.

im playing for hours and my brother... dont lose your time this is very slow AND the content is weak
this definitively needs much more scenes, less desnecessary clicks and better quality scenes, exotics or good description, rework the existing scenes and waste some time thinking and rethinking on next ones, this are the reason we are in a nsfw area lol

This game had good potential but fell extremely short. No evil ending for the male protagonist in a game called Corrupted City and the female protagonist is just meant to be a slut... As for gameplay certain characters rarely interact yet are supposed to have a bond with the protagonist? Found bugs where clicking leave in certain sections of the game switches over to the other protagonists life and that isn't supposed to happen. Found myself just running at the park all day because there was nothing else to do or trigger with the male. Ending was very underwhelming.

Note: I only played the female path since a male POV doesn't really interest me

I'm generally hesitant of playing these kinds of games since they so often have little content and just abruptly end when you're getting into it. Maybe I shouldn't have been surprised since this has the "complete" tag, but yes, it does feel like a complete game. It doesn't have a massive amount of content, it took me maybe 1-2 hours to reach an ending on my first playthrough, but the content that is there is nice

In particular, I thought the game does a good job putting your character into sexual situations where there is enough pressure on them to submit that I find it somewhat believable. There is also a surprising amount of hidden content in the game. I did two normal playthroughs of the female route and upon consulting the tips & hints section found a whole section of player slavery content I had missed. To me stuff like this shows that the developer cared about their game and didn't just put in the minimum amount of content necessary to call it done.

I look forward to this developer's future game's, though I will wait for them to be complete before trying them.

I like text-based games and would like to recommend this one, but I can't. Because of "inconsistency". I played female story and I tried to "play innocent", didn't suck dicks at the first demand, so on. And what does an innocent female worker do when invited by some client to his home? Right! She sucks his dick with his wife present in the neighboring room to "have revenge" on the client for him being impolite earlier. WTF??? That ended the game for me. The woman is not "being corrupted", she is just "waiting for the opportunity" to suck someone's dick or to fuck someone. Zero immersion, zero "corruption", don't recommend.

I had higher hopes for this project.

Having two stories in one game isn't that cool, it just makes the game buggy and messy. The two stories barely intersect so there isn't even a good reason to keep them in the same game.

Content wise, there is some, but t between the grind and the interface, you'll take quite a lot of time to do anything meaningful.

For example, it takes several clicks to get to the Reverie and start working, several clicks to have a shower, several clicks to... you get the idea. And you have to do that everyday.

Game is little gem (only 300 MB) and provides with two different plays, each with another two paths, game might be no sim like Girl in city/ETO but is far less grindy than Life Choices and offers you also ability to continue playing even when making ''wrong'' choice unlike many games here who punish you for experimenting with Game Over screen.

This game is shit, because it's full of bugs and tasks are few and fast.
The character has few objectives.
The locals are few and have no option to fuck, without offering any task, only pics. The public toilet in the park should have the gloryhole option.
The characters must suffer consequences for chosen actions, such as becoming pregnant and more, but more porn gifs.

The female MC storyline is excellent.
Name one game in which you get to murder someone, and then you become a stripper.
Seriously "The best HTML base game on F95".

Played as female protagonist. Still a moderate amount of content, but what is there is generally pretty good. Corruption seems to occur a bit quickly relative to what the protagonist "should" be willing to accept from one scenario to the next.

Great game in female MC.. needs more work to be done on male MC. The game keeps you hooked up and has a relatively good storyline when compared to other sandbox games.
Has few bugs. I hope The AVIARY will correct it in upcoming versions. Good work bro and good luck and happy times playmates..!!

Review of version 0.13:

I enjoyed this game more than I expected. I'm not a fan of HTML or real porn games in general, but this one was OK. The UI is pretty good and I didn't find many navigation bugs. And the art (pictures) is decent, the people in them are generally attractive enough.

The game is about corruption, so even though you can try to play as an innocent, external circumstances end up corrupting you anyway. I actually like this mechanic, despite the lack of player control, because the story has to happen.

My biggest complaint, and this is fundamental to real porn games that use collected assets, is inconsistency with the actors. The bulk of the MC art has her as a brunette, but occasionally she's blonde, etc... which breaks immersion a bit.

Story-wise, it's decent enough. Believable, no obvious forced conversion to a "roommate" game, and her job provides a number of opportunities for alone time with antagonists and gives them obvious leverage on MC.

I would normally give max 3 stars due to the real porn art, but the UI and navigation was pretty good for HTML, there's a decent amount of content, and the few bugs don't break it, so it gets 4 stars.

After my first sleep in my bed the game stops. No option to continue further (v0.13) . Even after choosing male gender, 90% of the pictures and events count me as a female. "Your stats have changed" button is nod needed. You could just be presented with the changed stats. There is an inocence bar and a corruption bar, but there is no energy or hygene bar and they are used all the time. Purchasing suit does not add it to my wardrobe. Going inside my female roomate's room and seeing her ass naked does not add corruption, but at the same time I'm feeling uncomfortable to go in a mixed grnder gym bathroom. My "postition" is a fixer, but on the other hand my landlord asks me to wear maid outfit and clean rooms to cut the cost of my rent..

The game has quite a potential, but a lot of stuff must be addressed, re-thinked and fixed. I'll keep an eye on new updates.

The game spends too much time grinding, doesn't let you do anything good until you've spent more than one hour into it, and even at that point you must know where to find the events to progress or have fun. Its has content but its too far apart one form another. It ends up feeling like a chore instead of a game. Even if the concept is interesting, and i know I've already said it but i want to make sure to get the massage across, it take too much time and too much effort to see their consequences or where the choices take you . The writing is not incredibly inspired ether, it ends up feeling like a bad adaptations of games like son of bitch.

Hot garbage. The usual grindy bullshit for the genre while also being light on the text, so it's just a sentence of "and then you fuck Matt!" and a little gif you've probably seen already for a few hours.

Really loving the female mc start. The porn star used for the work content is fantastic and I don't think i've ever seen her used in a game before. Please keep adding content and expanding the different routes you can take through her work.

i dont know if there is any content or not in this game played for about half an hour and other then the first few scenes you see right away nothing new happened. Even cheated to raise my stats after to try and see where the game goes and nothing happened still. This game is a complete waste of time

Good premise, but it needs a lot more content. There are only a handful of events and a little bit of story.

The game mechanics (sleep, eat, shower) and character stats are useless, they serve no purpose. The events don't change according to your stats, so it doesn't matter if are hungry, lustful or tired. At this point, it needs more events to reflect your stat choices or just remove them altogether.

Promising, keep up the good work. I really like when you have choices like "should I do it, or refuse in the last second." And it's also great about it that you can basically "Ctrl+Z" in the story if you dont like the outcome.
