Ren'Py Corrupted Kingdoms [v0.21.3] [ArcGames]

Looks like your game might have broke something in my OS because right now I've downloaded "Chasing the Cheerleader" and the game also refuses to start with exactly the same message as before.

From the research I've done, the problem seems to be with corrupted Microsoft Visual C++ 2008 runtime libraries. Ren'py doesn't have the ability to interact with your computer in any way that allows it to "break" the OS, so the corrupt MVC++ may have been a lurking problem that just exploded, or the result of a dodgy download or bad update.

If the above suggestion of restarting your computer doesn't work, then

The charaters are likeable(i love to hate morganna and plot my revenge)
The story is decent(nothing that made me facepalm but also nothing that stood out as anything more then the that is nice feeling.)
The mc is quiet likeable and seems... What comes above incomptent but below comptent?
I probley wont play any future versions.
The game looks fun but it hit several of my ruin immersan marks:
Third party give's you mind control powers and doesnt ensure you wont use it against them mark just reeks of plot convient and not people with any sense of self persivasion.
Granted it is beter then most because morragan seems arrogant enough to believe herself invincable.
But still third party ends up giving you power causes my paranoia to play up like crazy.
The discover by chance that his powers work's on the fey hits the: Discover by chance mark mark which is just plain lazy writting and too relying on luck.
Too much talking mark.
Granted after the tutorial ended it the talking when to acceptable levels but during the tutorial i was afraid that it was an other branching path visual noval.
I do not consider branching path visual novals games.
Mostly because they give you 95% poorly written dialog and 2 to 4 meaningless choices.
And while i want to play games.
If i want to watch porn there are beter site's.

I wish the devoloper luck and hope they continue this game.
It is beter then most of the crap here.
Just not among the good games.

Thanks for your efforts Arc but, as you have read all is well with the words again. I'm kind of angry with myself for running around screaming rather than looking for another solutions to my problem. Now, let's check this game of yours properly

Sorry the game didn't appeal to you, but thanks for the feedback and constructive criticism - it's all valuable information for me, and hopefully will result in a game that continues to improve with each iteration! Maybe it'll appeal more to you a few versions down the line, once the "game" aspects have been expanded on.

Thanks! Initially I'm hoping to be able to stick to a weekly upload schedule, but if there's not enough content per update for people I'll move it back to a once- or twice-a-month schedule, which will be no problem. Actions speak louder than words, though, so keep watching this space!

It was a nice start! Too early to rate but the scene with the fairy riding the edge of the lap top screen
If I could wish for one thing is the possibility to change angles during the scenes, for example be able to see her pressing her pussy on the edge would've been very nice!

Hmm, you're right! That would have been hot! Damnit...

I did actually start coding a "change angle" screen overlay that would replace the standard UI screen during sex scenes. But then I thought "that's going to change one scene into three... and then those all have to have pregnant variations so now it's six... and what'll that do to the game's filesize!?" and then I got scared and stopped. But I'll look into it again, and if it won't kill me or other people's bandwidths you may get your wish!

Well if more games used this kind of modeling over the garbage of other 3-D models, I'd be more than happy to play it. Most creators use models because they don't have the artistic talent to draw them out, but most of these generic ass 3D games are so awful looking, that it's nice to see the more Japanese looking models, which have always looked better to me. Plus, this is the first real 3D game that looked like it had an actual artistic flare to it. The screens themselves are nice to look at.
