That was quite a funny "April fools", one of their best so far.

April Fools? Nah bro, they actually did it. They only played it off as a joke. It was quite wily of them to coordinate the sale to be finalized on that day. Now, all of the rubes are having a laugh, but the F95 owners are having an even bigger laugh.

The save files in the game folder/directory are kind of a backup, the game primarily loads saves from the appdata directory, if you delete the responding folder there, there is even a chance that the game will faile to notice you had save files in the game directory all together

That's not actually true. I stop Ren'py from saving to appdata and use the game/save folder all the time and I have never had a problem. The only thing that happens is when transferring to a new version the game will say that the saves are from another computer because the save keys are saved only in the appdata folder but just click ok and use that save and it still works perfectly fine.

Just read the Patreon thing.
Can't say I'm surprised, Patreon are scum of the highest order, but this is low even for them. The game won't die hopefully, I like the story no matter what, but the graphical redesign for the purposes of putting it on Steam is gonna hurt like a bitch.

So goddamn sad, because this is one of the best games on this site.
