Ren'Py - Abandoned - Corrupting The Intern [v0.19] [LambdaDude]

A good concept that's executed fairly well. You join a company that has allocated you a secretary that you need to train to become completely submissive and corrupted. There are limited options to accomplishing this task, but the sequence of events was written reasonably well and I enjoyed progressing through the game. The gradual escalation of corruption had good pacing and I enjoyed all of the key scenes.

It's a pity that the game was abandoned - it's all over far too quickly but I enjoyed the experience while it lasted.

game mechanic was pretty straight forward. there is a slight grind but can easily be by-passed with the usual console commands. entertaining choices and options. fun little game. definitely would have liked more variety and further the story with Gloria or Kaylee.

Comments:
I’ll be honest. No idea why I even picked this up… let alone finished it in quick and skipping manner. The faces simply horrified me. Aside that it was quite plain game in general. Concept was interesting but the whole way the story went and scenes were presented felt just something I could fantasize as 12 year old. (if I would be into office secretaries). In a nutshell, I feel it was simply not worth the time.

Overall Corrupting The Intern is a really nice porn game with good art but it's quite short (2-3 hours). However, it's worth checking out if you are into trainer/corruption games.

PROS:
- Very nice character models, the intern looks especially nice
- All kinds of sex scenes with the intern, you can unlock new scenes and some even have variations depending on your choices (rough/gentle, etc.)
- Moderate amount of dialogues, there are no walls of text
- Fast pacing, it doesn't take long to get to the "nice stuff"
- You can also have sex with other characters besides the intern, but those scenes are pretty limited
- High quality UI and overall nice gameplay flow

CONS:
- The corruption of the intern happens very fast. One day she's an innocent girl looking for a job and a few days later she is giving handjobs and is exposing herself
- While the grinding is quite minimal, certain scenes and dialogues are repeating themselves...nothing game breaking tho
- The male MC has an awkward skin tone, but the model itself looks okay
- Dialogue Choices don't have any large impacts and are only changing some scenes

The following review is based off my personal experience with playing this Game/Visual Novel... I try to be as brutally honest and detailed as I can, and these are my own opinions and thoughts, from one or more play throughs... The version this review is based on is v0.14...

This game shows some potential, but it is taking a very long time to add additional content... I've played this game several different times since late last year, and although there are improvements to what exists, not much on the additional content front, over that period of time...

The visuals of the characters are decent, and the backdrops are ok... The animations look decent as well, albeit short...

The script is pretty good as I didn't run into hardly any spelling/grammar errors... The plot revolves around a male protagonist who is hired by a large company to train and corrupt a new intern to work for the company, doing sexual things to make them money... The more trained she becomes, the more sexually uninhibited she becomes...

The game mechanics have the day broken down into 2 segments each game day, morning and evening... You can do stuff to perk the intern up as well as buy clothes and have her work to make the protagonist money... Which he then in turn spends on her training and so on... There is also a roulette wheel gambling game you can play to make money a bit faster before she becomes trained and corrupted enough to make bigger amounts of money...

It really does not take that long to reach the content wall... Probably about an hours worth of game play if your lucky, 2 hours max if your avoid chances with gambling... Once the intern can work as a strip dancer, and you've seen all those random events, it's pretty much done... There are favors you can ask of her as she becomes more corrupt, but those get repetitive after a short bit... Same with spying on her in her apartment room... There is the boss of the company who seems to be into the slave/master bit, but that only randomly occurs in a few events...

This version has a lot of bugs that occur, specifically with the Favors, depending on what she is wearing when you go for a favor... They are all ignorable, but it's still annoying, and needs fixing...

Overall, this game shows some potential for being mostly a porn fest game, with only a tiny bit of story now and then... And it gets updates semi-regularly... But like in the case of this update, they mostly tend to be bug fixes, tweaks, slight alterations, and a very minor amount of new content... We'll just have to wait and see how this thing develops going forward... Will I revisit it again? Perhaps many versions down the line, all depending on how much content gets added over that time... Have to wait and see...

It's actually one of the better trainer games that are out there. The only big problem is the slow update, and for a long time the game was not being updated but LambdaDude is back and the game is getting updated frequently again. I hope more people support him so he can get more asset because I think he is a good game maker. The training aspect is slow but not too grindy.
But the reason I am giving it a 5 is the potential. The Intern is pretty much corrupt but the new character Gloria who is MC's boss and you can slowly corrupt / train her is a great addition and I really can't wait to see what happens next. It would be great if the plot becomes the MC getting promotion and maybe getting to corrupt more people.

I really enjoy all the corruption stuff. Starting with an innocent girl and eventually turning her into a shameless slut is very fun !
Easy to play and it's different from all RPGM and VN I see at the moment =D
I hope that this game will be finished...

This game is very... minimalistic. While the models are quite fine The animations are very clunky and there's not much of a story, especially for a 0.9 version. The boss e.g. promises more interns, but so far not even the first girl is finished.
The plot is cringeworthy and there's not a single character you can take serious. The complete lack of humor just adds to the whole experience.
On the bright side there's not a lot of grinding when you reload during your gamblings, so you can unlock everything quite quickly. Still, half an hour of playtime (including the grinding) is barely worth the download.

though the game play is smooth there just isn't a lot of it.
a very shore repetitive game that gives choices that can be completely skipped over.

storywise there is almost none to speak of and for a v0.9 the dimensions and scope of play are tiny

if you have 5-10 minutes of daylight you want to burn then its perfect but personally I just found it dull
