Is that a question or a statement?this game needs incest?
See, the thing about CoC1 is that, compared to this, it didn't have much of a story, nor much in the way of lore. Sure, it had both of those things, and they weren't bad, but they weren't the focus. The smut, which was excellent, was. Savin and Friends want to be for reals writers, but as this is porn, it just comes off lame and pretentious. There's a lot of reasons why people like Raf-Raf make comparisons to the first game. The 'stellar' storywriting of the first definitely isn't one of them.
Oh crap you're being serious then. Sorry for my previous answer. Here is the real answer. As far as the game progressed thus far, nope. Corruption makes you more horny and 100 corruption point gives you a Dark Knight title. Only some NPC have variations to that. No impact to the game world except a bad end with Kassyra. As for NPC corruption, most content are made with less to none effort for the route ie. Hive Quest corruption path. Slime cat has corruption so far. Pure bad guy gameplay is not even close to the first game.Lol why? Is there no bad guy mode like the first?
*Laughs in Helspawn incident*this game needs incest?
The first game also had barely any focus on the story at all, which I think is a pretty important note. It was fairly content to just be a kind of dumb porn game 99% of the time, with some character focused subplots. Those subplots did get shit on in coc1 sometimes too, because they were given a lot more attention than main quest stuff. Urtaquest is pretty much the original fen drama.think the point is because the first game was mostly just Fen writing everything himself, with some additions from the community later on, whereas this one is a "team" of people raking in tens of thousands of dollars a month, and it's pretty much the same quality. Like 10 years ago this would be okay, but with the amount of money you're making and the changes in tech and coding practices, you would have expected more.
Oh, I know that. Just wanted to clarify that most people like ourselves never really considered the writing of the first game good, just that it was shined in the parts that mattered the most.See, the thing about CoC1 is that, compared to this, it didn't have much of a story, nor much in the way of lore. Sure, it had both of those things, and they weren't bad, but they weren't the focus. The smut, which was excellent, was. No demons for now. There are demonic style transformations like the Lycan and Corrupt Mare, which is like the sinister looking versions of Lupine and Mare. Gives you stuff like bat wings and horns.Haven't played in a while. Can I play as a demon, spreading corruption yet?
Don't.A certain writer will seethe so hard for decades he will write spite content with your offspring in the next game and will make it canon that the champ was a corrupt bastard grooming their childrenthis game needs incest?
You forgot the part where that person will commission a shit ton of art about the oc fucking the daylight out of the incest/pedo bait for some reason. It's only wrong if you think of it but not to the writer lol eksdeeeDon't.A certain writer will seethe so hard for decades he will write spite content with your offspring in the next game and will make it canon that the champ was a corrupt bastard grooming their children
Agreed! COC's strength was choice. If Futa wasn't appealing there was an option to remove said appendage, if worms crawling around in said appendage was unappealing you can say NO. COCII feels like I am playing D&D and getting 1's on all my rolls. Your pleas to the "dungeon master" and his croonies are mostly left on deaf ears. "Can I have this? Have you thought of this?" "No. No. If someone writes it." Honestly why add a community function if you can't try to communicate without being a prude.I give a lot of shit to this game, but credit where credit is due. After playing a bit of Seeds of Chaos today i realized that it's very much unlike CoC, in the sense that in the latter i can succesfully pretend most of the smelly shit in it doesn't exist. That's quite an achievement, it must be said.
More like no demons ever, that demonic-style transformation is the closest we'll get (and apparently waiting to get implemented with the appearance screen overhaul months ago). For some reason, Fen games never allow you to be the real deal, and only let you be a demon-morphNo demons for now. I think the only corruption spreading content available is with Nihara, who if you have sex with her while having high corruptions turns her corrupt. Everything else related to corruption is usually a dead end.
LOLAnd if Bubblelord ever gets in the mood, he'll write a scene where Quin acknowledges that your bigger threat than Kas, and he'll partake in a murder-suicide to take you out.
Because they say the second is worse, and the criticisms they give have to do with the story. This implies they think the story in the first is better. Not entirely sure where you're getting that people think the story from the first game is good. If anything, most people agree that the story writing of the first is very simplistic in comparison to this one. What complaints like Raf-Raf's are getting at however is the apparent lack of player agency in CoC2 along with other glaring issues that are either due to some of writers' pieces or general attitude of the content creators.
That implies jack shit just because people say CoCII's Story is worse than the first one doesn't automatically mean it's betterBecause they say the second is worse, and the criticisms they give have to do with the story. This implies they think the story in the first is better.
Who is this 'they' you keep speaking of? I might not have been here for very long but so far from all the lurking and interactions I've had with the people here, the consensus is that CoCII's writing is better than the first but fails to deliver the same kind of impact the older game had. When talk of praising the old game in favor of the newer one in terms of story, it's usually in the context that it manages to deliver exactly what it says on the tin despite it's lower writing quality and simplicity.Because they say the second is worse, and the criticisms they give have to do with the story. This implies they think the story in the first is better.
I think someone’s storytelling can be criticised when the writing is subpar. It has nothing to do with the content of the prequel.Curious why people complain about the main story in this game when it is not very different at all from the first.
I don't know if they would allow that in game. We are denied of rebuilding the Wayfort ourselves and it is still a ruined shit hole. Doubt they'll let us have the impact of changing a town.Instead of enabling this despicable practice, the money should have gone straight to a town relief fund, building a school, recruit mercenaries, improving the town facilities, don’t you think?

Improving the area you live in in a meaningful way is a power fantasy, and you should feel bad for wanting that. The writers instead chose to stick to more grounded types of story, like having a harem of 200 people or becoming a literal divine champion.Instead of enabling this despicable practice, the money should have gone straight to a town relief fund, building a school, recruit mercenaries, improving the town facilities, don’t you think?

Guys, I thought we already established that we're donating our hard-earning gold to fund the Mallach-endorsed proxy war in the Belharan region to topple the Ayatollah? smh get it rightInstead of enabling this despicable practice, the money should have gone straight to a town relief fund, building a school, recruit mercenaries, improving the town facilities, don’t you think?
