Alright I went back and looked at my old femborc that got rejected and he may be salvagable. Here is his appearance blurb for those interested.

The idea is to have him attempting to rob the PC in the foothills. Fails. PC can perform brat correction. May tag team him with Arona.

Cocky try-hard personality. Thinkd he is badass warrior but overestimates his abilities. Thinks he's a great dick wrangler. He is correct on that last one.

To make Cait like the player even more?, I mean, given that her whole world revolves around being a slut for the slut god, doing things to make her dream come true, that's it, being even more of a slut would have to make her like the player more. Every contextual clue the game gives is related to that

Now, the idea of an alternative path, non in the game yet and with no buildup whatsoever, denying that, looks utterly ridiculous. We conclude things based on the available info in the game, that there are plans for a future divergent path means nothing to me till said path is included in the game

Can't blame people for reaching a logical conclusion with what tools they have at hand

Like we got our gripes, but like we just vibe most of the time. When you hear people from the forum or the discord coming over here saying ahit like we're all negative – you know they using us as strawmen to vent their bs.

That's a bit harsh, given I'm pretty sure they were locking something out over the temple back when it was announced to be a thing.

That said, I do think most people just did it on auto-pilot because it was set as a quest objective. There's also the possibility that not allowing people to undo it would fuck with Cait's overall interest towards the player base full-stop when it comes to being the center of attention that she was kind of designed to be. Similar thing to, say, Kasyrra, who Savin apparently swore in the past was meant to be a romantic interest, yet has one of the wankiest introductions in the whole game and goes on to have one of the most hilarious arcs in the whole game up to now.

I think it's reasonable to suspect that people would see that you can't have Cait in a certain way if you've done the temple, look at the amount of game you'd have to play through to undo just that and flat out stop giving a shit about her. The best straight romantic lead in the whole game is gender-bent Brint, after all and her only quirk is wanting the PC to fuck her sister and mother. Why bother with Cait?

While I'm definitely among those not interested in Cait, I can sympathize to some degree with those who still want more out of her. After all, in all three games only TiTS has proper catgirl romantic interest. All the more sad then that there was another idea for Cait:

"Cait (originally named Caede back in like 2012) was going to be a fangirl who grew up on stories of The Champion's exploits, found you petrified in a basement, and spent all her free time as an apprentice mage trying to perfect Stone to Flesh to revive you." (from CoC2 wiki)

Not very creative, granted, but at least we'd get player centered content and a potential yandere.

As for how she would turn away from the sluttery path? I don't know. Keeping anal virginity for all these years got her so backed up that she got hemorrhoids and they're flaring up after the deed? Mallach graces her with gift of sex and she finds he's only into cucking? Nareva brainwashes her? Nareva shows her just how fucked up her childhood was (with a dig at Savin's writing) and then something something "I embraced sex to forget"?

It's honestly not lower because there's always a couple of folks who stumble upon this, have a wank with the first couple of scenes and then drop it for something else.

I think 2 stars is a pretty accurate rating for the game. It's not the worst thing ever but it is so lacking in all the ways that matter.

At this point it's pretty clear that she's a communal commodity. Get used to sharing comrade. For the Commune!

To do a solid for a character someone may like? To access more content tied to a character they like? To get more characters they may like the content for? Because the game frames it in a way that implies it's a practical and neccessary solution from a role playing perspective since it's the site of demon sex cult shenanigans and where an extradimensional warlord came through and where a character's plot device sibling was lost and no alternative is provided?

Twink orc is something new so I support it. We need more variety even if not for everyone.

Its an adventure and sex game meant for a wide range of tastes, which by its nature means its never going to be exactly what everyone wants it to be, and given the slant in content its not for everyone.

Just because you can make choices doesn't mean its a custom tailored game just for you.

I'm sure CoC II looks just fine to someone who just stumbles upon the game and doesn't know about the mountains of drama, shitflinging, scrapped content, broken promises, and just utter contempt for the playerbase the core dev team has. I'm very close to just outright making a Google doc so that we can link it to new folks that way the thread won't be clogged up with the same discussion every ten pages or so of us retreading Tob's spite projects, the aforementioned scrapped content, the arbitrary rules they put in place, questionable design descions, and the writers who left like Bubs and their respective drama.

That being said, obviously all of us here still get something out of this game, or else we wouldn't be here. I know it looks like we're just constantly shitting on this game, but I mean... There's still bits of content that gets added that make it worth sticking around. There's community writers that drop in and actually have pleasant conversations with us. And it's not like we're staying locked in this thread 24/7 circlejerking about Savin. Nothing but negativity? I guess but it's not seething toxic rage, a lot of it is backed up with people suggesting alterations and critique.



I'm echoing GS21's questions as to what is this porn game suppose to be if not a sex simulator geared towards the player? You mentioned earlier in a comment:

Keyword is in my first post, "personalized". Youre playing with other peoples creations, not your own OCs. Ergo, you cant expect every npc to evolve in the direction YOU WANT them too.

Which is how every single game works, so the expectation for it to follow your own individual head canon is ridiculous.
