I think the worst part is that ntr is usually made by super talented people. Ankoman is not terrible but his his art is just kinda dehumanizing. Not to mention his piss poor story, people are there to just fap and leave. But me personally I can't engage with that type of stuff, I know it's abit hypocritcal for me to say this, but I don't like ntr all that much. Atleast not reading it, for the champ and corruption It should be empowering while showing that you are kinda an amoral/moral-less monster that is potentially worst than the enemies you fight. Don't get me wrong though. It's not like I want all my porn to make sense, but if you craft a ntr sceario where people are happily married and some tan/shota/ugly bastard is able to ruin that then it has to make sense. It should pretty much NEVER end with the woman falling for the dude unless she is drugged out of her mind. It has to be something she is against and hates and the reveal that she has been unfaithful could be the straw that breaks the camel's back. Or the dude can figure out what the cucker did and beat the crap out of him/kill him. No normal guy is going to take that type of shit sitting down, even if he has a gang supporting him. I've seen more than enough guys murder the guy his wife was cheating on and murder her too. It's a nasty slippery slope.
Gweyr could work well in the scenario because of how long she's been away from her husband and children. That doesn't mean she's stupid so the champ would have to provide evidence that she has been forgotten and he's the only one she should be fighting for, the only one who accepts her for who she is and wouldn't abandon her. This could be done by using Solvieg I think her name is. Garth's orc daughter.
/hgg/ and Xianxia are both build off of that one, and that was abandoned a very long time ago. You should check out the modern state of CoC1 mods.

I honestly felt there were corruption writers but they eiether left or didn't write because they weren't going to be paid for their effort. Still it's absolutely retarded that he just wouldn't pay people to put in that content. I'm going to jump off the horse that it was due to bullying or some shit, but if it was he is hopelessly retarded. The game is gravely lacking in what it promised and if people who came to the game for what the original offered were the big payers you know for damn sure it would be done or coc2 would lose too much money to keep going.
There's this bit that could easily be exploited about Gweyr, that her isolation is about self inflicted punishment, in a way, you must reconcile, and this is the part I'm not sure anyone on that team would be willing to explore because they made her too powerful while at the same time, not strong enough to end Tollus and the other guy, that Gweyr actually feels guilty about what she did, despite understanding that her actions were, in context, necessary
The idea to exploit then both her isolation and this element of self hatred would be apt to add a third element in order to push her fall, at the moment, she's been purging her murders through the hunt of any cultist she can find, despite understanding that her actions are not really stalling Tollus
Think about it, the one thing she didn't give up was her relationship with Garth, now, feeling after so long that someone wants her, desires her, sees her as a woman and worthy companion, imagine the second she gives in, all her suppressed passion finally free and then, she wakes up at the next day and all that guilt is there, the one thing that was still pure forever tainted
The thing is that writing something like that takes a lot, unlike "hehe the gyaru blonde guy and the hobo tag teamed the childhood friend and now cuck-kun is crying while fapping". At the end of the day a lot of ntr authors are doing a Savin and pushing short, fast paced stuff that they know will sell, or they TOBS their way around a long ass ntr light novel that goes nowhere because they got tired midway, and let's not talk about the lifetime movie approach nor the horrors of the female goonerspace
I felt that Gweyr was powerful but not crazy strong. She did just slaughter her way through some defenseless kids to get to Tollus and His goon(er). Like I said in my earlier response is that her relationship with garth is the only thing keeping her for cheating and such. But corruption works in a twisted way, preying on your weakness and bring hidden desires to light. You just need to break her faith in garth and the idea that there is a world waiting for her outside of this. Even though she is exiled, she still keeps the faith that her actions are protecting her children and garth. What we need to do is twist her peception and makie her realize the only person who is truly beating back the cult and truly needs her companionship is the champion. Garth doesn't give a damn about her and only talks about her with some somber tale like his embarassed of her. But the champion knows she did what was needed, the town will never understand or appreciate what she sacrificed for them. But He would, the only man willing to give company to her anyway. A man who looks at her like a woman and not like a heartless murderer. Of course, she feels bad about Garth, even if he had a good reason; it still feels like shit that he abandoned her. He never once even tried to find her or send someone to find her. Now she's heard he slept with some orc bitch and is watching over the child, too?
Type shit when it comes to the first staged of corruption. Though admittedly in coc 1 it was alot more forceful and rapey but when confronted with someone, you can't just break and overpower like Whitney, then you change tactics to make them see your point of view. Corruption is fucking god-tier when it is done right because of how personal it is. I think the story would be interesting for how much the champion changes through the corruption, that they can break alliances and lose party members. Who may or may not stand against them later on in the story. But in exchange, they can gain corrupt/people companions who agree with their views or both are using one another to their own ends. Reminds me how Baldur's Gate 3 crapped the bed and punished you for siding with goblins, making you lose two party members permanently with no exculsive evil companions to replace them. So you are out of two people for the rest of the game. Too many rp games try to sell the "Evil doesn't pay" shit when it ABSOLUTELY does. Not that I want to be a politician or anything, I just want to feel the empowerment of playing a evil character and having a evil playthrough. Not some murderhobo bs that is the Durge.
Didn't he say somewhat recently that he expects that most of the people doing the romance Kassyra thing are doing it to redeem her and turn her good rather than doing it for an actual corruption route?
Considering that dumping Azzy and Liaden into the Bimbo honey and leaving the Hive corrupt is the only really corrupt or evil thing that the Champ can do, it wouldn't surprise me if writers wanting to do Corruption stuff were just being slapped down for going "too far" or it being a "power fantasy" for the Champ to actually corrupt people.
Bruh, just because the majority may or may not like something more doesn't mean you should use that as an excuse to remove shit. I don't want to change Kassyra for the better. I want to become stronger than her and truly make her my woman. Someone to rule by my side, not the other way around. Not to mention that power-fantasy shit is a stupid excuse to not give the player agency and real choices to affect the story or their little snowflakes. Of course, the corruption is empowering, but power fantasy would imply that you are an unstoppable force of nature, which you aren't. It's like tapping into the dark side of the force, it gives you power but takes in equal measure. It's just that corruption choices would alter the story too much(Which is a good thing for a game to have two paths you can take that changes how the plot goes).
