The act 2 quest better let us deal with Tollus finally or there's no hope for this narrative. And I think it's a safe assumption that finishing act 2 will auto-fail Gweyrquest if not done so they can't hide behind needing him for that anymore if so.

That's exactly why I didn't bother to get rid of Liaden, it just removes content and replaces it with no content. Sure it's boring cringe shit, but it's better than having Azzy be this remnant. It feels like denying what happened and trying to ba sing say it. It's so annoying when they remove shit but don't replace anything. I was more or less fine with Berwyr because I still got something in return and he wasn't gone forever.

It was as easy as to rewrite Azzy's reaction so she would be happy regardless of who got the sword at the end, as simple as Liaden being happy if you give her the blade and Liaden being happy that someone like you got the blade
