I personally feel Rachel went too far/was to extreme to reach any more than neutral ground.
Being cordial after an apology.
And I know this is a kinetic novel, so if the devs decides there should be more there probably will be, but I can hold out hope that maybe for this character he considers to give the players a choice.

You gotta let them have their wet dreams...

You are not the only one & some of us on the discord are quite vocal about that also...
One of the reasons why i, while being a subscriber, haven‘t touched the Game for the last 2 Updates. I hate Rachel with all my Heart. She reminds me of this toxic relationship, you just can’t escape from.

She already alienated herself when she publicly called MC a rapist. Even if Nobody belived her, i lost every speck of interest for that character and just want her gone. There is not a single way for her to redeem herself.

If that character is forced on us after everything that happened,i‘m probably just going to cancel my sub and ignore it going forward.

While i love Cozy, i‘m simply not comfortable with Rachels character

Thinking over MC's first meeting with Sarah now has me wondering--did Lucy talk with Sarah about MC before he met her? I don't recall seeing anything in-game directly addressing the question, so speculate away. But I'm tending to think she would have--Sarah is her only friend, and it seems like the sort of thing girl friends would discuss. Moreover, Lucy (incorrectly) views herself as unattractive, and now has this guy (whom she likes) showing interest in her--and while his romantic interest may not have been clear at that point, hers was certainly present. Again, sounds very much like something girl friends would have talked about.

It might help explain how quickly Sarah warmed up to MC, anyway.

I am pretty sure there is a line in there about Lucy asking her for help with the uniforms, so it would make sense that they would talk about that stuff when asking for help. But the timeline is a little funny, most days before lucy moves in she either spends lunch with MC, goes to his place after school, or both. So lucy really doesn't have that many chances to talk about her crush, that being said, the time she does spend with Sarah would probably be full of her talking about him and asking for advice.

I don't remember it ever being apparent that she told Sarah about her dynamic with MC - though that could partly explain why she assumed(correctly) that he was a pervert so quickly - but she definitely did talk to Sarah about him; the first time we meet Sarah is because she agreed to make the waitress uniforms. There's no way the conversation would've just been Lucy going "hey I need two maid outfits, more or less" and Sarah asking zero follow up questions.

Fair, and I should have been more specific with the question--I was thinking more about Lucy talking about MC himself and/or about their relationship; of course she'd asked for help with the uniforms, which necessarily would have included what they were for. But thinking more about that, it seems pretty unlikely that that discussion wouldn't have gotten at least a little personal.

"I just got a job at a cafe that's about to open, and we need uniforms for the two waitresses; could you make them?" might just barely be enough that Sarah doesn't ask further questions. It does explain why they're needed, both generally ("for work") and specifically ("they don't have uniforms yet because they're just opening"). And Sarah could infer that a startup would be short on cash, explaining why her friend is asking for a favor on behalf of the business. But it doesn't seem likely that Sarah doesn't ask any questions about the cafe, and that can't not get into its owner. And Lucy has no poker face, and Sarah knows her well, so Sarah's going to know something's up.

On top of that, Lucy would've mentioned at the very least that her new boss would come by the club to discuss details, revealing that he was a student. I'm sure that would've intrigued Sarah too, since people owning businesses at such a young age is very rare, especially a full-on cafe.

I'll encourage you to play the last two updates. Especially the previous one was the strongest one so far and, while I have my problems with the last one, they are mostly me not being 100% the target audience of the game more so, then anything else. Also seeing Rachel get a verbal lashing was really nice. Not to mention the way Cosy handles Cath and her arc gives me slight hopes he will pull off something unexpected or at least tolerable with Rachel. I can't think of anything, but I would never make her so incompetent or an LI, so that's on me :D
Personally outside of some early weirdness, Cosy has been delivering above my expectations, even if I don't agree with all the stuff in the game or gush about it as some fans do.

Day 4 - Lucy goes to meet Sarah at Lunch, while MC posts his ad for waitresses.
Day 4 - Lucy tells the MC about her being able to help with the uniforms during dinner.
Day 5 - MC meets Sarah at lunch, calls her a "first year", gets thrown out. Lucy smooths things over.

So, yeah, Lucy probably had the ability to gush over the MC to Sarah. But the whole first update is a bit weird and clearly rushed, so it's no wonder you missed it. Oh, and Lucy's characterization is... not great.
