VN - Ren'Py - Abandoned - Counseling [v1.0] [Makolero]

Review of version 0.3

Not much to say about this one. The renders are poor, there is a lot of expository text over backgrounds with no characters, the sexual situations are contrived beyond the point of credibility (even for a porn game), and the writing is generally poor.

For some reason, an annoying blinking asterisk appears after every line of dialogue. Are there supposed to be footnotes? I couldn't find any so I'm giving this game two stars for lack of citations.

Not recommended

The theme got me because my wife is a psychiatrist so I was interested in the premise. I kind of actually like the start of it, but the game is clearly being developed by someone a little newer to rendering, etc. I think this game will have some rough edges that hopefully over time get better as skill also improves. (one primary issue for example is how the characters are rendered against a background, it's not blended in as well as it could be and appears to be cut-outs, etc.)

The story is fairly good though there's a huge gap missing in the MC's life between doctor visits that should be explored. The models looks are nice but all are sluts and not relationship material also most guys hopefully would pass on them or practice extreme safe sex as they surely would be carriers of various diseases. The renders aren't too bad but the animation is extremely lacking otherwise not bad for someone just learning Ren'Py and Daz3D. Hope this developer sticks with it and improves.
