I'm bad at Japanese but from what I gather, this is YET ANOTHER dlc for CM3D2. They will milk it for all its worth...

Yeah thought for a moment that perhaps they scrapped the new game and just turned it into a DLC, which might actually be the case.
I feel like I want to get into COM3D2, but there is so much fucking stuff for it that it really puts me off just thinking about it.

plus the mod size like damn, it could be hundreds GBs (kinda same with koikatsu but at least it has modpack to start with.)

COM3D2 is already bloated. It has too many versions. Too many DLCs. (But, surprisingly, not that much content. Idk what they are using those 100GB for, but I'm sure it isn't making a ton of a difference). This creates problems with the modding ecosystem, because not all modders create stuff compatible for every version. I'd hate if they scrapped the game or if they turned it into a DLC.

The main features that revolutionized the game for me were COMSH plugin (control the maid position during sex) and Virtual Reality. They should focus on adding stuff like that. Not extra events, clothing, etc.

CRC3D looks so bad i'm sure it's finished long ago. It looks like a simple expansion of COM3D2. Gotta milk what they have until DLC's stop putting in numbers

There are some updates on the official website, not sure what's that about but at least they are still working on that project... somewhat.
