There's stories that stick with you after reading them. It is like that with good books and very rarely it is like that with a good VN. This series was like that for me.
It's a raw and sometimes incredibly dark story of growth and loss and coping with a reality that you can't quite shape in the way you need it to be.
Just like Amatsutsumi by the same dev, it made me cry. More than once. And just like that game, it manages to land the ending. It's not a happy ending per se, but it is the one the story deserves and needs. The writing is relentless that way. It doesn't follow tropes and the characters aren't good or bad, they just are.
The H scenes... well they do belong but I wouldn't say they should be the reason to read this. You need to be here for the story. You won't regret it.
