VN - Ren'Py - Cursed Affection [Ep. 6] [Daniels K]

This is one of the best paranormal story for an avns. Which focus on how our sense of security we get from our house, guns or masculinity means nothing in front of a force we don't understand,that laws of logic breaks beyond such power. And all this done very subtly. Teh writing here is good as I am in still h one.

and the renders and musi is on point.

Teh on;y issue I can find at this point is that its sex scenes of part 1 and some later parts are like a sex simulator with no naughty talk and progression and very clunky animation implementation which is a issue , this do improve in somtimes, but it is a primarly story focused AVN .Otherwise this game is truly a gem in the dust. That needs to be played by more people. If nothing than for its environment alone.

It have interesting theme i.e, facade of stability, exploitation in the name of truth

A pretty decent story about a cult that terrorizes a small town. It's a good looking game, with some very nice renders and a terrific sex animation system.

Pros:

1- The background music was well thought out and sets the mood nicely.
2- The renders are well done. There are some really artistic shots in the game.
3- The female characters are pretty, but look more like Instagram models than inhabitants of a small town. Yeah, I know, it makes fapping easier.
4- The sex animation system is terrific, and was the most impressive part of the game for me. Yes, more fapping.

Cons:

I would have rated this game much higher if it wasn't for the mediocre writing. I assume this is an English translation and that really drags the game down. There are simply way too many frames that resemble a garbled word salad.

If the Dev is interested in putting this on Steam, I would strongly suggest he/she gets the English version cleaned up first.

I read the tags and thought to myself, "pregnancy?, great I'm in" And then I see the pregnant GF, oh no! I was sort of put off, but I soldiered on expecting something like a good end of humanity epidemic story, but it seems like a slow burning horror cult/alien story. The expectancy of seeing some steamy action wasn't forthcumming, so I have decided to delete this game as a waste of disc space and my time.

I think this is similar to the Twin Peaks-inspired game he did before, Pine Falls, but the models and animations are much improved, and therefore, the game is a lot more modern.

That being said, it's a Daniels K game, the plot can rush at points, and the girls throw themselves at the MC for no other reason than he's the MC. At least he gives you choices to accept or reject their advances.

The English is still a little off, but very solid.

The AI-improved version is really interesting, it borderlines on real and uncanny valley, but the scene with Bonnie talking was very solid.

All in all, it's a Daniels K game with good animations and good models, therefore 4 stars, it would get 5 stars if it was a little less rushed, but I understand that sex sells.

Well done! The animations are better than average. The story is interesting given it is a porn AVN. The girlfriend is pretty believable as a character and a huge plus that she is pregnant. Sometimes the lewd times can be spaced pretty far apart, but not too bad. I am not going to follow every update, but I will revisit when completed.

Pretty good Daniel K game. However, this time the plot seems to be a bit more serious and I'm all for it.

Pros:

1) Great renders
2) Plot seems to be heading somewhere
3) Nice setting. A backwater cult American town vibe.
4) Animations are great
5) MC isn't a fresh 18yo creep

Cons:

1) Relationship with the girls develop too quickly
2) The various options during intercourse was a great idea but wasn't executed well. The sex scenes lose coherence when going from one to the other.
3) At the moment, doesn't seem to be many branching opportunities.

Overall a pretty good game. It's a Daniel K game so it probably won't be abandoned and finished in a timely manner. But at the same time, the ending might be rushed since it's a Daniel K game. Good luck to the dev.

Even through it has been done a couple of times before the story is still interesting but there is not enough of it yet to tell if it is actually going to be done well or not.

The characters logic and priorities in this game are all messed up,
Sex scenes are good and bad, for MC's girlfriend it is awful, first there is a terrible choose your camera angle and action mini game type thing and then second there is the art, if you are going to give a character pubic hair at least make it look nice, Jessica's crotch wouldn't look out of place on a hobo it is just disgusting, for the other characters through they don't get a mini game and the art is pretty done well.

None of the characters really stand out yet as there is little time to get to know them.

Its too early for any choices to have any real effect so whether they work or not is still up in the air but given the nature of the story i would doubt it.

Honestly I do not really get how this game has such a high rating. The story starts of quite interesting. I have not seen many games like this, so I appreciate the authenticity.

However, the dialogue and romance is rather dissapointing. Romances happen so quick without a lot of development or events having to take place for them. It just feels so unrealistic and rushed.

I guess that's in general the vibe I got from the litte content that we do have right now, rushed. It seems this game is just rushing to as much sex as possible.

Great first chapter. Looking forward to more. If your reeeally wanna give the player the "your choices matter" feeling- don't give them the power to investigate everything. Not the "choose at least 3" but "man, my schedule is gonna be tight, can only squeeze in 3 things to investigate today"
It sounds silly, but this illusion of choice will go a long way for future updates...ehhhh but who cares, right?

I really enjoy this mystery story so far. It leaves me curious how it will develop. I enjoy the characters and do like the renders. There is even quite much content for episode 1. The developer did a very good job. Cant't wait for more

i love the story and the renders and after all it was an interesting experience really
the only thing i hated in this game was the sexual encounters sys because animations need dialogue too and to go through them without choosing randomly
that way it feels more alive
but i do love this game ofc

Great start. Don't mind the negative reviews and comments about the author or the game. A game with pretty decent writing and renders... what else do you expect in a porn game. Try it and I'm pretty sure you will like it.

Oh and about the Ai CG, it's good. It has done some subtle yet meaningful changes to the normal version. Not too much change though.

SUMMARY: Solid start but more work is needed in the details.

PROS:

1. Lovely models, really nice looking
2. Visuals, renders and animations are really great
3. Story is interesting, reminds me of other games with similar cult vibes.
4. Writing is pretty alright in terms of English, grammar and structure.

CONS:

1. Story has some flimsy aspects that break cohesion and "realism".

   These kinds of details matter when you are building a murder/mystery story.
2. The Foreplay, Sex and Finish "system" is different but ultimately over complicates what should be relatively simple transitions. Like other games, if you want to have several sexual positions, list them for the player to choose from foreplay right through to finish. Let the player choose whatever without making more menus and screens IMO.
3. Not sure if this is a CON yet, but ill mention it, that is that the MCs wife is pregnant, this does not mean others can get knocked up or not, so some clarity would be nice and of course the option to knock up other love interests would be nice

TLDR:
Solid start, not much here to REALLY judge or rate, so I am giving it a 3 and will review again when some updates are out. Here is a strong potential, but I would revise whats there before putting out more, maybe to close some of those hoops and flimsy bits to create a strong story driven game.

Despite all the hating trolls which have nothing better to do than complain about free pirated games, because they probably don't have a life, the game is actually good. I for one enjoyed it, it has very nice graphics, the characters are good looking and the mystery part of it is pretty awesome. Another good Daniels K. game as far as I can tell
