Seems i am just a lurker in NTR/S forums that has become an activist against subscribing to unfinished games. sure it was supposed to be a way to fund indie games. there were some grifts in the past, but now... it seems to be the norm. as a slow burn fan.. you can simply exchange the words "slow burn" with "don't bother subscribe".

it's sad because it will lead to less slow burn games being developed. but let's not pretend it wasn't because slow burn authors have not abused their fan base. That said, if you are still subscribing to slow burn games you are now part of the problem. it's a conundrum. but i can live without porn games, they can't develop without cash. earn my money or starve devs.

and to be clear this is not necessarily throwing dirt at THIS particular game necessarily. i have read the comments i know there is nothing worth playing through at this time. so i wait patiently. now it looks like the game will likely never finish. oh well i wasn't emotionally or financially invested other than i had at one point really looked forward to this. and still will, if it ever finishes. but like other games in this genre, we are incentivising monetarily the outcome we are getting, yet act surprised when our monthly contributions are expected to stretch out for ... decades in some instances i have found.

collectively, stop subscribing. if a dev wants to launch a business they can take out a loan and start one with some skin in the game like any other business for all i care. let them take on the risk (and the reward) for their motivation levels. rant over. hope this game is great one day.

I can definitely agree with the "slow burn" aspect being overused. If 0.7 doesn't feature any good scenes past the usual crap, then I'm pretty much done.

Not gonna blast the dev though. Their game, their choice.

You are correct. i don't intend to single out this dev alone. but when i see 0.7 i loosely expect 7/10 of a finished product. i know its not 1:1 but if i don't have anything interesting by .4 i start thinking its a cash grab and it tends to be mostly accurate. i feel like i don't really come out of the shadows to stir up trouble except when warranted. that said i'll be under my bridge wishing this game well. but not paying until there is a completed tag next to it. cheers.

you WERE wrong though, now that you mentioned it. you can say that "something that takes long has higher chance of not getting there" for literally everything, it's like saying the world is round, it's just nothing.

Overall being here for years did sadly prove to me that projects which take long have higher chance for being abandoned! its not specifically NTR slowborn, its any porn game which takes long! and like you said yourself its like world being round

personally i say the slowburn will only works when the dev show progress but release the whole game together! (not to mention that playing slowburn NTR games can kill the whole mood once the good things arrive! this kind of shits should be played without pause)
Other way it wil be in high risk of either turning to greed and milking OR being abandoned! because the dev or artist might lose the passion for it OR come up with a better project (in their eyes) to continue.

I don't get why this game attracts so many doomers. Is it because the art is so good it keeps living rent free in your head? Are Vallabelle cheeks not getting claped interfering with your daily lives? Why can't you get it that you are not the target audience for this game? Just move on, come back a year later and skip to the sex scenes if that is all you want. Sex doesn't even have to be the climax. There is a lot of corruption, hidden sex and sexual harassment scenes he can do after the first time they have sex. People just need to let the dev cook. Even if wait is gonna be longer the end result would be more satisfying.

daium now i saw why you said they are doing better than this! even though i disliked the 3d models but the plot and pace was so good! i love how things started already but not finished yet! in my opinion Cursed forest needs to start something in next update!

actually i love slowborn but there is a big difference between slow born and 80% of gaming being tease and having action only at end and then the end... at least its my taste and many others too if you had read/follow this thread from start! this game is going on 0.7 which translate to 70% done and we havent a handjob yet!!! its not slowborn if all actions going to be train just at end! slowborn can be: some hand job -> some teasing agian -> boob job -> some regeret and teasing again -> etc...
Still i have high hopes for this game! there is still time to make it a perfect game for everyone.

Here in CFQ the elf wife is very powerful so Durrak can't really blackmail her because if he did he will be incinerated, however given how oblivious she is with human nature Durrak can make it as an advantage just as long the husband isn't around and it's actually working given how he use his obvious lotion that is made of his cum to massage Vallabelle booty also while it's not BJ or HJ he did a Buttjob with Vallabelle while she is bathing so I feel like the pacing is going well.

No, i meant 0.20. the game is far from being completed even though we're in 0.7. Seeing how the progress goes rn, probably after 0.9 it will be 0.10 not 1.0 because version 1.0 is mostly about finished main story and updates after that is just additional scenes, that, if the game was RPGM, but this is VN.

But still, it all depends on the Dev, who knows maybe he suddenly wants to rush things so the game is completed after 0.9

Given how the personality of Durrak I don't think he would go so far to Drug or Blackmail Vallabelle because the Husband is very cautious of Durrak nit like TBTW when the husband is only cautious from the start but later became somewhat less cautious because Org knows how to cook and he's competent not like Durrak.
