Did you change music? I like the music in the game it's more fantasy.
Is the dev paying you to do this? The sound effects are too repetitive. You can find better audio effect packs on itch for free online that you can use.
Except for three tracks, no. All the music is still the same. The ones I considered changing were a bit bland for some scenarios, and those are still fantasy/medieval tunes. The rest I just tweaked the loop and stuff.
And as far as sound effects go, yes and no. All I can say is that if I find something on itch.io that I can work with, I'll take it. Honestly? I have a bunch of assets from that site, but most of them are reserved for the better parts of the game. Right now, and right for the beginning of the story (when I need something subtle and not in-your-face), it's very hard to find the appropriate sfx's.
Your criticism is still valid though. There I attach the original audio so you can compare it, it's not as bad as it sounds in the video, but I agree it's still repetitive. If it has to go, it will go in favor of something better, maybe less fitting, but better.
