From what I understand: this is still the curse's doing. It's just available to watch whenever, so it's only a gallery implementation.It's a good change in the right direction. The whole delusion thing didn't make any sense. How could the MC take a peek at the situation (whether it's a delusion or not) and not cut Durrakk's fingers off?
It's more appropriate to keep the protagonist in the dark, in my humble opinion. Unless you're going for an NTS route
I thought the curse didn't make any sense in the beningin too, but then I thought that maybe it's not as clear as it looks. Maybe the MC does see the whole thing as a dream-like sequence, but much like some dreams, he just forgets it once the curse is done?

As someone interested in the lore, I asked the guy himself the same thing. I hope I sparked at least a bit of curiosity in him so that he'll address the issue eventually. Because, as of now, the whole thing goes like this: MC sees something outrageous, but lets it pass like it is nothing. It's like those Skyrim NPCs who get an arrow to the face and say, "What was that? Eh, must be the wind..."

Same for me, it felt more like a convenient excuse to not have him actually see what was going on but just pretend it was some hallucinating so that the viewer doesn't feel like he is directly involved while still having the scene to watch. It was a bit odd honestly and didn't fit into the story flow.

Considering how minimalistic the premise is (girl gets seduced within the span of a few days on a single trip through a forest), the slow burn, stretched out and rushed at the same time story and blueballing becomes apparent. It's not an overly complex overly lengthy plot, yet the slow development, micro updates and general patreon milking make me pessimistic that this very simple story take longer to finish than it warrants to. I watched too many games get abandoned and stuck in development hell for years and this game isn't exactly exemplary.

Can I have a link for 0.4 and I'm pretty sure 6.0 doesn't have 5.0 content I wish there was a way to just have the game be packaged with everything like an update file
0.6 public should release today or tommorow (probably, hopefully). It will contain all the content in the game so far + some additions. You might wanna wait for that. For some reason the mode of this thread doesn't pin the current public version on the main page.
