yes, this needs abandoned tag, 99% of the posts are about other games or complaining that the dev abandoned the game, this thread is useless

Thread doesn't get that tag unless there's been confirmation it's been abandoned, there's at least 3 (Maybe more? Don't recall) months of dev going radio silent about the game in every platform or if the dev is still talking about it but goes on for 18 months without any update or shown progress. Then abandoned also can get applied. None of this has happened yet.

Guys, just because someone hasn't posted on their patreon for 3 weeks doesn't mean the game is abandoned.
People have lives. They take vacation, get sick, have to care for relatives...
Don't let a game consume you. Check the thread from time to time and be pleasantly surprised when it got updated.

True but you have to understand that he needs to inform his patrons who are funding him that he is taking a break or so. Going awol causes a lot of concerns

Both sides has a valid point this would likely be solve if the dev communicated before hand, be it delay or not.
I mean if the dev is in vacation, sick, or probably family problems he still has time to communicate with his patreon even for a little to lesson the drama for both sides tbh.

From the looks of things, this is not his priority at all, and that's understandable. He most definitely has the time to do a lot of things, he just doesn't want nor much less needs to. If he comes back today or a year from now, he'll be welcome to continue. If he don't, it is what it is, nothing we can do about it.
That is a valid excuse to not deliver updates its not a valid excuse for the lack of communication to the people funding him.

He just doesn’t give a damn. How many times has he disappeared or delayed an update, only to come back with more promises that end up broken again?
This dev is inconsistent and keeps lying about progress. Sure, the product might be good, but the development process is a mess.

I wouldn’t welcome him if he abandoned this game, then came back under a new name just to start another project that will most likely end up unfinished as well.
If this one really is abandoned, then Phat has had three unfinished projects — and that’s a bad cycle.

like it tried it, it's decent, obviously took a huge "inspiration" from this but its also like a completely different game? 3d art, not a blonde fairy lady, faster corruption, different style/writing/art direction/everything

this is the better game, they are just coping. mad and sexually frustrated.
i agree however the dev at thorns is much much better xd, dude is always active and keeps his followers updated unlike this...Its always the games with the best art that end up like this
