i wouldn't worry much since i'm guessing they different things. i'm not sure since you used too many acronyms for things i don't know, nor really care to find out.

Anyway, Anonymous Man, the writer of cursed was really good. All his games were good and well thought out, but he suffered from burnout far to often. I believe he had other things going on in his life. Haven't seen hide nor hair from him in a while as far as posting goes.

Also, these games are very similar. The original Cursed was about a guy that gets cursed by a witch and is set in modern times, this version is a guy that gets cursed by a succubus and takes place in medieval times...

Read into that what you will.

CoC = Corruption of Champions (the first one)
TQ = TrapQuest
FS = Flexible survival

These and Cursed were what began the era of amateur weg massproduction we're living in now.

"renders look nice, but ...WHY?"

RPGM UIs are rather tedious to navigate, in addition to a pointless grinding mechanics (an inheritance from their previous games), there isn't much content yet, so it's not too late.

EDIT: Sid Valentine should consider expanding the wardrobe, some bikini armors, as well.

How to crash stones in the cave?

Down and to the right you should see a pickax that you can use to break the rocks. You also need planks which are in the first nearby and in the next room there is a rope on a shelf.

I hope the writing and content amount will be good in future updates, because on the RPGM side of things is horribly lacking. Plonked some big boxes buildings on oversized maps and fights with multiple enemies take forever. No love for the engine I see. At least there is a questlog.
For a beginner, fine, but come on, this is the third game.
