VN - Ren'Py - Cybernetic Seduction [Ep.8 P1] [1Thousand]

If in one line I can truly be describe this game it is will :
A competent game, that doesn't hand hold its player just parachute drop them into an intriguing world that is beautiful , yet as you go deep it is in equal measure both deep and underwhelming.

Cybernetic seduction gets B+ : for its writing , especially the dialogue and how story unfolds , it is a sight to behold, in that way it is one of the best in its genre. What is issue with its writing is that a plurality of its sex scenes feel as , if author is just creating sex scene, ie., there is lack of gradual buildup of sex scenes excluding Kendra, Nina and lilith (may be cleo , ???, and cox to some extenet) the sex doesn't feel organic, I am not saying that that the motivations are not there , rather what I saying that given the writing of dialogue , I expected more gradual escalation of the same, the too easy nature of sex is fun if and only if the characters are in periphery with distinct personality, but here the issue is that most of these side characters occupy major space in the narrative hence , their sex scenes feel unearned .

Game mechanism, UI A: No notes the experience while playing the game is wonderful, one of the best game in this category , especially as to how it clearly mixes both free exploration(which while being limited is rewarding). Also task like morph level etc keep you on toes. A walthrough version of this game will be fun to replay and that is mark of game path design. One complaint is that during sex scenes the UI (speech box ) often covers the boobs or the sex etc which is annoying to press H which then agains gets covered up when moving fwd the story line

Sex animation C+: This is a part of the game which after a while decomes offputting. It is because a serious lack of variety of angles and perspective in sex scenes, that jkills the tension. The sex scenes are all shot from same angle during a sex scenes, and this problem is repeatedly comes even among different sex scenes. This is criminal becuse the character models are among the best in the game, But they are heavily limited by shooting sex scenes from same angle. It is as if different way of viewing jiggle physics, sex organs interaction or focusing on face of female during orgasm were not presnst. You know what makes sex scens in these type of games fun, it is the reaction of female, Dioalogues during sex alone doesn'tcut for it. I would havew understoof\d the limitation if it was a niche game but such high production suffer imo, primarly because of sex scenes, Whixh is seriously creating issue in generating inrtest in the ame because otherwise this game should have been in discussion for top 10 avns in the likes of Bad. I believe game dev should study porn and recent master piexce like game of hearts to improve upon this aspect of their game

World building and storytelling of the world c+: Learning curve of this game from world building perspective is high , it takes may be till Nina answers all the question in an info dump , But even then the way the story get told onto player is frustrating. I swear if I was not awed by the story and the intriguing chacter and their deisgn I would have dropped the game then and there. A simple example being what does the mission actually means, does it means get targhet prrgrnant , make them fall in love if its is seconf\d what is criteria for that, why doesn't replationship with one character doesn't impact relationship with anopther, I jkniow it is a porn game where logic goes for toss. But come on when character writing is good, why doesn't it feature jealousy, especially for the women in simulation , which make this game feel artificial.
For example the concept of the app... it talkes a long time for one to figure out what is the app and what is the meaning of it. I mean It took me till death of schizo to figure it out ... and that to because I have watched durarara... which was based on the similar concept. Here that app feels more like a plot device than an actual power like in that oif durarrara... where all app memebers were not just random extra... here only blaze and freya and to some extenet the black lady fills that void rest are faceless goons.
the police side and mafia siude is done correctly... but for the love of god . This game can't alone survive on pretty character model, great f\writing olf female characters ,mc, and a genuinely intriguing world.

It needs more especially if the dev have plans to make it a clearlly bigger game give the amount of conent.
I would suggest them bring variety of camera , play with light and shadows for sex scenss as they look aesthetically flat(game of hearts is a great example), grow your cast beyond women you have to fuck ,, make your app feel like a power create life beyoind fuckable woomen, your preimise and world is that strong bring it to life. And finally for the love of your avn make sense of what is the mission what is the meaning of extraction of the codes.

P.S feeling I got from this game is like going to a fancy restaurant , with high prices and genuinely appetizing looking food, But being constantly have a bad bad experience due to staff, or the ac not working , or food tasting not right due to correct level of spice , salt, or lack of variety of dishes etc.
A five star restaurant delivering a 3.5 star experience and that is sadly the reality of this game for me.

I really wanted to like this game, and while it has potential, it needs a ton of work and polishing.

I do find most of the LIs attractive, and the rendering is good (though nothing spectacular).

The characters are fairly one-dimensional, though there is certainly room to develop them and flesh out their personalities.

The plot, while fairly original for an adult VN, is often nonsensical. The weakest point, however, is the writing. The English is fine for the most part, but the writing is just bad. The conversations between characters often are difficult to follow/make sense of, and though it's clear that the dev is trying to be witty, the dialogue is awkward and unnatural.

Closer to 4 than 5*, but will round up

Great amount of content, decent enough writing, and a whole lot of scenes. There is a story to the game, not entirely my cup of tea but was it was interesting enough. Borderline too many characters, but almost all of the characters get developed and have routes - rare for a game.

Would suggest playing, one of the better AVNs currently in development

The build up is whats interesting on this game. Although at some point, you realize that you will know the plot pretty much and where it leads to.

Some are predictable and there are few that is intriguing. Other than that, thats a solid 4.3 out of 5 for me, but just round it up to 5 to make it interesting.

Rough start with less story telling, but you will eventually get to the part where it started making sense.

I like the idea of not showing the vaginal sex from start to mid, but started showing alot more to the end of the current chapter.

The start of the game is a horrible mess of unknown nonsense that leaves you asking why over and over again, like
I don't know if it's a translation thing or simply because there is no colour coding to the text per-character and no head shot either to help you keep track of who's speaking but some of the conversations are just plain confusing.

Not a single one of these supposedly highly trained experienced agents comes off as anything more than pathetic thugs, they are childish, rude, petty, incompetent, etc...etc..., there is literally nothing good about them.

The choices before the sandbox are a completely pointless aspect, First if you give choices like (flirt/don't flirt)then the writing after should match the choice and not just change what points you get, Second other choices are totally ignored like(stop Liam from punching the drunk) and are then referenced as if you didn't make that choice and Third, what the hell is point of having the choices in the first place if the whole goal of the game is for the MC to seduce the women, anything but the seduction choice would only lose you the game, it's like having a popup saying fail game/succeed game, why would you want to fail the game?, what it needs is a third choice where you can choose to succeed the mission but not actually like the character.

The women were the biggest problem through, they are in a word horrible, pretty much all of them are tsundere's and if that's your thing then more power to you but for everyone else, spending hours and hours trying to please women who treat you like crap is not a fun time.

Once i got to the exploration phase/sandbox i decided that was enough for me, terrible women, pointless choices, horribly complicated sandbox with stats you have to keep up, a story that makes no sense as it doesn't get explained, nope cant think of a single reason to play the game further.

This game is a nice surprise and has the merit of managing to take you into a completely crazy simulation (or alternative world?) story. For that alone, I say BRAVO.

Another really good point for the aesthetic choice of the female characters, of course, but also the MC (although MC's penis is completely off). The girls are breathtaking for the most part, but special mention goes to the beautiful Nina and the incredible Lilith. There are still some graphical flaws, but generally speaking, they don't detract from the overall picture. The cutscenes are pretty good and replayable, which is good, but again, there are some small errors. Sometimes it's better to go back to the images than the animation.
The free roaming isn't bad, but it doesn't balance out overall, and sometimes you can tell it was a bit of a random addition. Again, nothing too serious. The special and simple missions, the extra meetings, the little crafting games are very well thought out, and it's an added bonus for the whole thing.
The harem concept is good because it fits the MC's role.
MC is a good person despite his role as "Cock," and that's a relief.
The authors generally did well overall and found a subject that would allow them to create sequels for a long time with redundant characters like the MC, Nina, and Val, and I sincerely hope they don't spoil the enormous potential of this superb trio and their possible adventures as travelers in simulations (or dimensions? or alternate realities?).
There are many expectations for the sequel, so please don't spoil the relationship with Nina or Val.
For this beautiful collection of creations, as a big fan of beautiful feminine curves, whether slim or curvy, I give it a 5 despite some notable imperfections. Can't wait for the next one!! I'll definitely get this game on Steam!

The story does its job well and is pretty imaginative. I wouldn´t wanna compare it to any other story, so probs for being unique. Some of the plot parts were little boring, so i might have skipped them. It feels like they were added to explain the world more, but in the end they did feel like meaningless side stories. I usually hate sandbox games, but this one wasn´t so bad.

Writing is good and i really did like many of the characters. Nice interesting personalities and beautiful bodies make killer combination. But like with the story, also some characters did feel meaningless. Sure they were interesting and beautiful, but there was just too much meaningless side character yapping. Story has harem vibes in a bad way, as every emotional speech feels like MC is just scam artist doing his job.

Visually game is great. So many fat booty bitches. Lots of eye candy to look while reading and sex scenes have enough passion. Sure the women bodies don´t move naturally and money shots look horrible, as the sperm is some weird liquid, but overall the sex scenes are good.

Prob closer to a 2.5 star for me. It's a good effort but lacking in a few areas.

The graphics are just ok. The style they use makes it look really outdated.
Other issues, being a bit nitpicky..., are when someone goes swimming but their hair is still dry and in perfect shape. When looking, leaning, laying over the hair and body parts are still pointing in the wrong directions.

The free-roam part is a great idea but doesn't come across very well. For example, you have to roam to every room in a building just to have a quick conversation with a single person in each room.....kinda boring.

Other storyline parts/conversations are really boring to read and you'll probably just speed click those parts.... There are many dialogues you have to read through that are away from the MC and really long and boring. Silly parts such as a bartender flirting with you, watching her guardian knock you out with a gun, then wanting to keep flirting with you next time she sees you almost like nothing happened.

After awhile I just found the story too long-winded with many unneeded conversations and boring graphics.

I understand it's an incredible attempt and effort, though, and wish the devs all the best.

This is a one I really wanted to like, and if it were not for all the "Free Roams" I think I would really like this AVN.

I have said this frequently, but adding things like "free roam" or "sandbox" to a Ren'py AVN is a challenge. There are only a few of them out there I can tolerate and those basically have clear instructions on how to move to the next item. For the most part, it seems like devs add them just to say they added them but they really do not know how to use them effectively.

In this case, the "free roams" do not add anything to the story. The fact is, you have to go thru every scene in the "free roam" in order to advance, but all of these scenes could have easily been threaded into the story. There is no need for the "free roam". They don't accomplish anything. They don't actually do anything. They don't add any value to the story or the playthru. All they accomplish is to pull the reader out of the story.

And it's too bad because the story is pretty good. There are some silly parts like the MC is basically a professional player who is expected to bang everything and everyone in order to infiltrate whatever organization they are going after... But the characters are interesting and the story seems to be coherent and well thought out. Plus the dev is artistically talented and can write well enough. Not a whole lot to complain about and a whole lot to enjoy. It doesn't take itself too seriously and it seems like a fun little romp.

Unfortunately, you can't really enjoy the story because you keep getting interrupted by the silly "free roams". So for me, it's time to move on.

If you don't mind the mindless "free roams" you should download and give it a try. Otherwise, nothing to see here...

Great story and animation. HIGHLY SUGGEST this 4.7/4.8 stars outta 5. Being a DIK is a 5/5 stars for me. If this game had any kind of "management" system that could reward money would be great, BUT earning money isn't necessarily a priority in this game where you receive money while doing story missions.

It starts off slow, but it pick up the pace in every way.

It's ambitious, many LIs, scenes, renders, sound effects, plot, missions, etc, but it somehow delivers. While the setup is cyberpunkish/matrix, the ambiance is fairly normal and don't rely too much on aesthetic cliches.

Renders often have a fantastic lighting with immersive sound effects, animations matching the quality in variety and taste. The pace is just right on point, almost never repetitive, with a few non-grindy missions around. The story is intriguing with a few obvious plot-twists but that felt satisfying nevertheless. Branching goes wilder as you progress.

It's a must try, and always a pleasure when all I have to say negatively are nitpicks:

- The sex scenes could add soooo much with a proper build up.
- This game has the weirdest MC dick I ever seen.
- I wouldnt mind a few filler scenes showing the car at some given place over the dry-cut jump to a diff scene.
- The MC is slightly annoying (although the mannerisms adds to a nice touch of originality)
- I would replace the animated cum fluid simulation with a static (more realistic) one.

Well, it is a good game at this point. With good image quality.
I hope dev will not make this game too long with a lot of fillers.
P.s: To me its a great news that game doesn't have sharing.

This visual novel is really wonderful, with the best models, smooth animation, good story, free mode part is very easy to play, just follow the prompts to complete the relevant tasks, I really like it, although the dialog part is a little difficult to understand, but I still think it deserves five stars!

I've been playing this since this morning. Always wanted to try it out just never had the time but I really love what I've seen so far. The story is quite unique, it feels like the Matrix, Twilight Zone and Outer Limits all in one with a super sexy twist to it. The characters are well made and it features probably one of the best looking cast of female characters I've seen in a while. Simply gorgeous models. The animations are good and the renders are beautifully made. All the best to the Dev.

I really like the game. But it has a serious flaw for me that I will explain later.

The good:

I found the story interesting, it is different than others and even though it is highly implausible its entertaining.

The Lis or “hearts” look fantastic, there is diversity to them and the game through its “sandbox” mechanism allows you to skip content with some of them.

The average:

The sandbox mechanics are different from others, and they serve to allow side stories without breaking the main story. So I get its function and it’s not bad, but I did not enjoy it.

The bad:

The sex scenes. During the sex scenes you have to click several times to choose the order and what you want to watch it in. This totally breaks the flow of the scene for me to the point that it blueballed me several times highly reducing my overall experience. This is a problem that happens in a lot of games, but in others is excusable because there is no dialogue. In this one there is good sex dialogue and this problem could be easily fixed eliminating the choices or limiting them to a few (to avoid fetishes) before the start of the scene. So if this could be fixed in the future or a great person could make a mod to solve this issue I would gladly give the game 5 stars.

In general, congrats to the developer and I highly recommend you give the game a chance as long as the aforementioned problem is not a buzzkill for you.

It took me a little to understand the premise of the story, (I didn't read the overview, just liked the preview art) but it literally grew on me ; )

Great story with multiple paths that lead to fantastic scene and stories that help keep the play interesting. Can't wait to see how this continues developing.
