Hey guys, just wanted to let yall know that we are getting close to releasing beta for this game and only have a little bit of stuff left to put together. Walker's sprite is being changed and we are at an even 1-1 for like and dislike internally since we only have 3 people working on the game and I myself am impartial.
What do you guys think about the sprite being smaller for walker than everyone else? The reason for it is that it makes sense in a story context and it also makes it easier to put more on screen.

The first chapter of our novels are considered by us to be the setup for the story. The morality choices will come in chapter 2-4 for the rest.
Already more star wars like than the entire sequel trilogy

You might want to consider investing at least in the protagonist's idle art as she is the face of your visual novel. That way, people get used to her appearance without changing it later on.

We're all huge star wars nerds, the legends are so much better than the sequels.

We're actually working on the main character's idle art right this moment, it's going to be very similar to what it is right now but will be a redraw as to not steal the original artist's work. We aren't a fan of the face and will change it but the pose and general style will stay the same.
Release the game earlier to each higher paying tier and later to every to below the highest or don't do any tier benefits and just let people pay what they think your game is worth. I think your idea of more content the more you pay will drive people away and if it doesn't I guess it will be another way I don't understand and despise people.

I completely understand what you're getting at. The patreon isn't a priority right now as much as making the novel into something that isn't completely terrible, the patreon will get early releases, help us find bugs and potentially patch em, and vote on numerous things that could be added to the VN over time. I'm still learning ren'py and this is our very first anything on ren'py so this is the process of learning, it's a fun engine but learning it sucks.

How about letting the poor and stingy play the game in a 100% version and instead add Ch 1.1 and 2.1 etc with bonus content for patreons?
That way anyone can enjoy a complete experience without feeling they are missing out and the supporters get access to extra story and scenes that connects with the story but is not 100% relevant to follow it?
That way the people who already appreciates your efforts will be likely to keep supporting you while you also increase the chance of finding new supporters?
Idealist perhaps but I think something like this is better then keeping the *umh* "story relevant porn as hostage".
