Daz3D - Clothing Bleeds Through Instead of Laying Over Bottom Layer

When making 3d art, I noticed that in my renders the clothing shows through one another instead of top layer covering the bottom layer. For example the waistband of underwear are visible through the shirt and looks like the waistband of the underwear is on top, shirt beneath it, and then actual underwear on the bottom layer. I don't know how to fix this problem so that the clothes overlap without showing through one another. It seems like a glitch or an error but perhaps I am doing something wrong that stops things from laying flat over top of each other?

1. Easiest way is to check if the top has adjustment sliders to fix the issue.
2. Check if the top has a smoothing modifier. Turn that on. (mesh smoothing)
3. Set the topmost item to collide with what's under it and not the figure itself. (mesh smoothing -> collision item). Increase smoothing and collision iterations.
4. Add a push modifier (Geometry -> add push modifier) to the top item. Change the push modifer value to 0.01. (mesh offset)
5. As a last resort, add dforce to the top.
