Others Daz3D - Recoloring Character

So I was looking for a red panda model, and I couldn't find any for download, but Papa Ernie showed me the raccoon, which is the right shape and the only thing I need to change is the color.

Is there a way that I can change the color inside of Daz3D so that all my renders will come out looking like red pandas? Or would I have to do photo shop on every single image one by one (that would be a lot harder).

Go to the surfaces tab and change the base colour on your characters skin, lips etc.

That's going to change all the colour of the texture map if you just change the base colour. It's going to look terrible and unnatural. Everything will have a red tint to it.

Just do it in photoshop (or GIMP if you don't have PS). There's only 1 texture map from the racoon you need to change. If you know how to do it, it won't take more than 5-10 mins. Then just save your "red panda" as a subset and you can duplicate it as many as you want.
