Howdy all.
Normally i use C4D for modelling as i find it to be a great "all in one" tool.
However i wanted to try out Daz for characters, and so far i am very impressed with it.
But i am having a small annoying issue when i try to use the DazToC4D plugin.
When i export a model from daz to c4d using the bridge plugin, "Send to Cinema 4D"
The model is exported fine. but the channels with the textures is a bit messed up, i think?
As you can see the "Color" texture is somehow in the Luminance channel's shader.
and some are in the Reflectance channel.
This happens in both R18 and R22. "dont have the newest R2X version"
The exporter in Daz dont have any options that would cause/solve this as far as i see.
The importer only have the option to convert materials to Redshift, Octane etc"
Is this because of the types of textures used in Daz on the models i get this?
I am currently trying to export a Genesis 8 model.
Ideas ??
Edit:
If i use the export option in Daz and export the file to a fbx file, things turns out a bit better.
Still some small issues.
if i saw a woman with eyes like this, i would be running faster than Usain Bolt away from her.
Im not sure why the DazToC4D plugin does put textures in the Luminance channel.
