Early review of the initial v0.1 release:
The writing is...rough. Just the basic plot is a mess. Initial intro, then a jump to 6 weeks into an end of the world scenario, but the characters are acting like they're on a honeymoon. Then a 6 year jump, this time to a female protagonist. It's just bad. Character design is meh. Hampered by the bad writing and lack of any real content, they're just paper thin.
The animations...yikes. So many needless animations (drinking coffee close up, etc.). I get that the dev doesn't want the game to be static images, but there are smarter ways to do this. Look at other AVNs. Simple things like making characters blink during dialog sequences, or more subtle environmental animations, make a much more immersive story without several GBs of pointless animations. To the people celebrating the sheer number of animations for an early release...in this case it's not a good thing.
I don't see this title really going anywhere unfortunately in its current form. The writing desperately needs help. The sheer number of pointless animations will make it unsustainable to make content for or to even download because of file size. I'll be curious of a v.2 drops and what shape it takes.
