Don't for he's been claiming to be a week away from release since end of 2019 as well

Because its more than just the 'gym' stuff as I understand it. Many of the assets designed are there to be reused for later updates plus the variations in MC appearance plus in game choices are going to alter scenes. There's a lot of variations (And yes, I think their inexperience has played a role in this debacle hugely),

Having peeked behind the curtain the scale is very ambitious, especially given they are still a 2 man crew.

If he fails to get back on his feet and sort shit after this update it's on him, but I think a second shot is something people should be open to.

It's hardly Darth Smut levels of fucked up.

I'll try my best to and try to explain why I think he has his work cut for him.

For example think we have a couple of poses:
pose1, pose2, pose3

and then a couple of clothes:
clothe1, clothe2, clothe3

Add a couple of body modifications (tattoos, etc) into that mix:
modification1, modification2, modification3

So for these 3 poses, 3 clothes, 3 body modifications he has to draw 27 images.

pose1 & clothe2 & modification3

Depending on the layering system he might not have to draw all of those, some modifications might not be needed or some changes might be even minor. However at the same time, some body modifications could impact other body modifications, like breast size on tatoos etc, and that adds another permutation level.

Each delay makes me dissapointed as well, especially because how he used to handle things. But we get a progress report each week, these days. And last week we got one on Saturday (didnt have to wait till the last second), I really hope he keeps this up. Its baby steps, but steps nonetheless.

Thats why idea of many breast and butt sizes are counterproductive. I think that 4 sizes is top. Normal, enlarged, as big as possible, grotesque. Leaving normal for first part of the game, enlarged for thouse who are not into bodymod, as big as possible only in endgame for thouse who are into bodymod and grotesque only for thouse who are into farm content. It will let autor have at least 2/3 of the game with one size.

Its his game, he gets to decide all about it (we cant complain about that). jonL you have to realize, just like you, there are people on the other spectrum of things. I think Fresh is trying to keep everyone happy. Who knows, depending on the workload he might choose to cut down on the customization (I hope not). Then you have hip sizes and tattos too.

AFAIK these images are drawn not 3d modelled. So none of his decisions are making it any easier for him. Its not like he can change some values or rotate some limbs to make things happen. Probably the reason that we dont see that many developers going this approach.

Its not like I am trying to persuade Mulan, its definitely to late for that.
But according to my own observations people rarely choose middle options in this kind of games. There are those who play on as minimal corruption/modification as possibile and those who max it. So having more than one middle option is mostly over-complicating you own job. And drawing slightly different picture several times is not inspiring, leading to less working, leading to less frequent updates.

There are games where corruption/modification is unavoidable and player cant choose how it happens. And in these games the more stages the better.

Whats is the things you like the most in this game ?

For me :

Fist of all Kira, she's sexy.

The russian story, for me as european it's spooky.

The 3 Kira in her mind, the Kira without memories, the KGB agent and the lustfull Kira.

The bimbo path, it's a real path I mean not only some pic, there is text and a story.

What miss the most :

Repeatable event. I like Kira and I want here to do some kinky, sex stuff at demand... For research purpose ofcourse.

I come back to check on this game every now and then, as the concept of it is amazing. What i've played shows this could be an amazing corruption game. But it seems almost dead in the water.

I see no difference between the customization of scenes/art in this and say Good Girl Gone Bad both use draw art with multiple hair, tattoo, breast, clothing, piecing and dialogue permutations. So I don't think you can justify Mulans actions.

Mulans him self admitted after 4.5 he just cashed in on the money for 2 months without doing any work because he couldnt be bothered with the bad reception 4.5 received. So until i see a big change in this games development ill stick with the assumption its now just a cash grab mulan puts maybe 5-6 hours work into a week a most

there was that vote, so I'm assuming that the patreons voted for a complete release. which means it'll probably be a while, but at least we won't be getting terrible bugs and glitches and missing content, I think.

Hopefully the next update will make things seem more coherent.

Felt like the version of the game I played had a lot of inconsistency and felt a little empty.

Last progress report is giving me optimism. I hope mulan spend enough time doing farm to release it in a month after gym. Two big updates in six months is much better then one in five.

If coding has become such a bottleneck in progress, maybe its better to divide updates into groups. Like, once a month releasing content patch, once a 3months some major mech patch.

Lol, I had the exact opposite effect reading the progress report. To be honest its just this section (I am positive about everything else)

That’s why I’ve decided to spend my time on Katya, plus I have warrior blood and it demands sacrifices (Die Hans! Die!)

Huh, the guy just started working on something new (even before the game released). Why does this seem familiar?... Oh shit!!!, this is pretty much what happened every single release. Will he be able to wrap thing up by the end of this month!, What if he doesnt like the outcome?, etc.

I really hope this doesn't come true, but we'll see won't we.
