If you looked at the qualifying rules of an Abandoned tag and checked when the last update was you'll have your answer.
Too soon to say. Based on their history so far, the dev has been very good about hitting that 3 month release window. Give it a week (or two at most) for the next update.
I guess there's a new tentacle animation in the upcoming version and other than that, a new vendor and highway map expansion.
In discord author says, that new build is almost done. He is doing final tests and fixes from friday

great would be nice if there is a large map, respawning mobs, random patrols to promote replayability, after a while it gets boring.
Yeah, that's the biggest issue I have with this game that once the enemies are dead (and they die quickly, it's easy to clean a map) there is nothing to do anymore, except slog all the way back to hideout to reset the game which is fucking annoying and a chore.

A ton of Games now a days sure cloud services for many reasons, even Singleplayer ones. At this point it would be harder to find a new Mainstreamtitle that is not using any type of Cloud/ Webservices.
