RPGM - Completed - Demon Slayer Shion [Final] [7th Door]

A game that tries it best to be just unfun and annoying, even though it could have been easily great.

The story is good enough .

Music is okay.

Art is amazing.

Here are the problems, the maps are atrocious they are just boring long mazes with nothing interesting in them, the attack segments are just time wasting why can you only move slowly there, the sex scnes are good but way too repetitive , the game is very bloated it should have been a third of the actual length, the town map was very dissapointing, the fight are too often and just boring, the lewd battles was good the first time but afterwards just too long.

Have played a long time ago and drop it on a middle.
This game has an astonishing arts, sexual heroines and different scenes....
But the description, what heroines say during the scenes is realy bad, its boring and kill any interest to the game.
Moreover, for unknown reason developer made a huge labirint type map, so you can easily get lost

Played for over 7 hours. Really wanted to enjoy this game, but it unfortunately, suffers from some serious issues.

Pros:

- Great art, esp colours
- Hot scenes, esp lesbian scenes
- Custom creatures with battle fuck elements
- Nice corruption progression with increasingly lewd dialogue
- Hot skin tight costumes
- Nice lewd/tentacle progression based on levels
- H-stats
- Standing portrait changes based on depravity
- Aphrodisiacs
- Overall high quality
- Very interesting items and tentacle/parasite stuff

Mid:

- Turn based combat, with awkward UX
- Unique leveling system
- Ability to speed run combat
- Sound design is aight
- Story is whatever

Cons;

- FLASHING, constant flashing during combat (eg, flashing when attacking, and even when fucking restoring stamina)
- Cum flashing (this trend in Japanese RPGs is so freaken annoying, it's basically just constant flashbangs during H-scenes)
- Some of the worst level design I've witnessed (Levels are labyrinthian and confusing as shit, and it only gets worse later on with pitfalls etc - this is done to increase game time but it's actually super off putting)
- H-Scenes are hot but plagued with word vomit, literal essays during h-scenes

In closing, if flashing and doesn't both you, then this is easily an 8.5/10. Personally, I give this a 6.5/10 due to all the headache inducing flashing and terrible level design.

An amazing game if you like tentacles, latex and optionally futa. There is not much actual raw sex happening, but a ton of teasing and it is HOT.

Levels are a maze. I've cleared the game without looking up a guide (only checked it at the end to see if I missed anything). It did take me a while, but I thoroughly enjoyed the journey. The way gameplay is structured you are actually encouraged to avoid enemies and pick your fights, and that makes exploration pretty engaging.

The biggest downside for me were unskippable H-attacks in fights. They get unnecessarily dragged out and when you are stuck in a longer fight become rather tedious. If there were an option to just see one CG with a short text recap instead of the full sequence - that would make this game 10/5.

- plenty of futa and tentacle content.
- CGs are of top quality imo.
- voice acting is peak.
- different types of CGs depending on virgin state and futa state EVEN when getting CGs at the later stages.
-lots of different endings.

CONS
-the levels of the floors are painfully ass to explore
-no real guide to know what next step to do such as randomly hop in to a random tentacle hole in a floor.

i recommend having the guide if u ever get lost in a floor.

Typical J-RPG with nonsensical world-setting and story, and paper-thin characters (and it's rice-paper, even thinner)

Decent H-Scenes, made insufferable by the constant, interminable, insipid blabbering on top of them. And it's not (just) a translation problem: I don't need 15 lines of text to give me 5 times the same 3 un-imaginative descriptions of how various moves of a tentacle may feel...

If you’re into corruption and tentacle fetish this is a must play imo.

The basic premise is making your way through levels of a tentacle dungeon, rescuing lost ninjas and heading to them lowest levels to defeat the demon. the basic story is serviceable enough, characters aren’t very fleshed out but they’re mostly there for the sex scenes anyway.

exploration is a little annoying but it’s by design, the levels are vast with a lot of traps and a large part of the game is managing your lust and stamina as you battle through it looking for a way through or to a Teleportation point where you can return to your base and rest Or get new equipment.

combat is very standard however if you fail to manage certain stats you can often get fucked by a tentacle or other including mid battle scenes. One fun element is the boss battle scenes have an option to engage in a lewd battle instead of a standard fight with different moves and mechanics

the h scenes themselves are very decent, the art is fantastic and a lot of the lines are voiced. There are a lot of scenes involving either monsters or companions and even just solo with a lot of variety. Should be noted there’s no men in this game so a majority of the non tentacle content is lesbian, solo or futa

corruption is handled by a depravity level system. basically the more you indulge the higher the level goes and this affects scenes and the games ending . This system is poorly explained in game however.

overall it’s a really well put together game. You can probably expect 4-5 hours of content but if you want to hunt out secrets there’s probably another hours worth in that alone.

If you're looking for a game with latex aesthetic, don't mind tentacles, and don't need visible penetration for enjoying it, this is one of the best games around. Don't read further, just go and play it.

The downside is slightly repetitive content around monster battles, and maps on later levels that are real proper mazes (the developer's guide helps, I've created translated version, see game discussion for link), which means there is quite a bit of monsters to fight.

For the good parts: tons of content featuring voluptuous girls in skin-tight latex suits. Voiced sex scenes and sex sounds for the scenes. Slow corruption of the main character (that has effect on game play, but isn't debilitating, one of the good endings actually requires being corrupted to a large extent).

For people not into futanari, the vast majority of it is skippable (only Ayano memories aren't, and those are just one or two scenes). For people who are into it, about 80% of the later half of the game can be played in futa state.

I'd give it 4.5/5 (I do consider The Wreck of the Spaceship Todoroki to be better for latex content, this is second best), but can't do fractions, so 5/5 it is.

I'm sad to say this game is just way too obtuse, confusing and a time-waster. I finished the previous game in the series, Ayano, by following a walkthrough. That game was really large and confusing too. But when playing Shion, even following a walkthrough, I still got lost tons of times and had to waste hours walking through the same areas just to find that once place you were supposed to fall or the right order of events to progress. It's truly a maze that, compared to the size of the areas, has little unique porn content. It's just not fun. Yeah, the art is high-quality, but when I try to progress the game for hours and get the same scenes over and over it gets old fast.

I'm giving it a full pot because I really want this to get more spinoffs/sequels. It is a great game, and I want more. Great visuals and gameplay. The artstyle and voice acting are so nice. The game is great fun. Might not be for everyone because the map is a bit of a mess to navigate at times but id say that's its only real drawback. Not enough to not give 5 out 5 for me

Reviewing Final Version. (couldn't find the final boss so I quit there)

I wish I could give this a perfect grade but there are some hiccups along the way.

The story is pretty straight forwards, you're trying to go save girls who got lost/corrupted in this maze of tentacles (girls are from previous games but you do not need to play them) while trying to avoid getting corrupted yourself.

Gameplay is uhhh definitely the downside of this game, confusing layouts full of distractions, no map, no quest, just go figure it out yourself. Even playing with walkthrough is painful (I still couldn't get to the final boss using the translated walkthrough), the battles and CG are nice the first few time but you just start holding CTRL in battle to skip the ones youve seen a hundred time. The mid game has an insane difficulty spike where you just start fighting elite enemies constantly and getting lost everywhere.

The LEWD/CG is the highlight of this game except for two things, there is not much penetration and 95% of the nudity is just skintight latex, do not expect to see exposed boobs or penetration for the grand majority of this game. Otherwise the art is really hot, the ladies are hot and there's still some good action if you don't mind the lack of penetration or full nudity per say.

Audio: Another highlight, there's a lot of audio accompanying very descriptive texts so if you enjoy reading lewd dialogue and have some voice/moans alongside you'll really enjoy this one. The sound effects are pretty nice and not overbearing either.

Overall I give this a 8/10, you'll have a decent time with the walkthrough but still some frustration.

Personally a big fan of this game. The aesthetic is just right for h-girls. (Big boobs, but not monstrously big). The h-artwork is quite nice too. But the winner here is the dialogue. Get's really descriptive and lewd later on, but no fetishes that are typically revolting (no scat, vore etc).

The player will definitely have some issues with the map, but the walkthrough guide is decent enough. I'd rather have this map exploration than many other h-games requiring mindless grinding.

Overall solid h-game for those who appreciate lewd themes and dialogue without being too weird.

One of the most annoying RPGM "maze" games I've ever played.

Over 2 hours in, I'm completely lost, I've got some memories from the "first" girl, some memories from the "blonde" girl, and honestly no motivation to continue.

I can see some interactable memories off screen, but the game doesn't let me interact with them and straight up just turns the character around. 99% of the game is spent walking around aimlessly skipping through pointless "combat" sequences.

The combat is completely trivial to the point you can hold enter+control to fast forward through killing everything with auto attacks. I have never managed to lose an encounter, even when doing this. I don't think you can lose. I have no clue what the point of the "easy" mode is other than making the part where you just hold enter+control shorter.

It's just you lost in a flesh colored maze where every room looks the same, trying to find the next CG. The only reason I'm not giving it one star is because the CG is good. The game doesn't really even qualify as a "game".

Its VERY good. While this is a sequel, you could absolutely go in blind and understand everything. The main gist is you are a female warrior/ninja "hybrid" and you need to infiltrate this dungeon full of lewd traps and whatnot to save your former allies who have become corrupted with lust. So, you jump in to try and save them without losing your sanity from the pleasure.

Pros:
-The FMC is strong and very resistant to lewdness in general (apart from her ignoring everyone's outfits). So, as you go across the dungeon, you can see her actively resist pleasure to her utmost ability, all the way to the end. Even as her "corruption" progresses, you can see her try her hardest to regain her sanity and not fall to orgasming pleasure.
-TONS of stats to enjoy, and the stats do matter to an extent.
-Sound effects are really good!
-Exploring isn't tedious, and finds a good balance of "easy" and "where tf am I"

Cons:
-Contradicting one of the "pros", theres a MASSIVE difficulty spike midgame, where you go from "this is straightforward and easy!" to "What? Where? I've been in this room 9 times now. Where tf do I go? What am I missing?", and the developer himself acknowledges this difficulty spike. He put up a guide to follow that is nearly MANDATORY to follow if you don't want to lose your mind (its the area with pink walls and aphrodisiac sludge everywhere).
-It can feel a bit repetitive at times. It isn't too much of a nag, but it goes from "that's hot" to "I need to masturbate to lower the pleasure, ugh".
-Everyone's body is the same. DD cups, jiggly booty, anime eyes, it's pretty expected. It'd be nice to see a more modest figure, but everyone is stacked.

Subjective:
-No "upfront" nudity as far as I can remember. It's all just girls rubbing each other through nearly seethrough skintight latex suits.
-This game mainly has tentacle porn. There are a few exceptions with futa cocks, but that comes pretty late into the game.


I played this game while the only translation was MTL, and that version was worthy of being 5/5. If you like corruption, you'll like this. If you like dungeon crawling, you'll like this. If you like porn, you'll like this. Go play it at least once.

This is the best skin tight female corruption lesbian focused H game you'll find (although focused on a male player satisfaction, and not much romance so not much yuri or lesbian love here), and yes, for the degenerates that want to know, there is futanari content (us being it as well as Ayano) BUT, really later in the game, so in case you came for it, don't worry gallery is on 1st save...

Pros:

Yes, it does have corruption, more than 1 girl accompanies the Female Protagonist, amazing art, and voice acting, there's also sounds, while it isn't 100% machine translation, luckily you can understand a bit of the plot, but it's not really that much to get out of, to summarize it, Shion, our blonde beauty is going to rescue her fellow companions from a dungeon also, it comes with a full 100% save with all the scenes already unlocked in the gallery (first and 2nd saves so think twice before saving there), you can have "sex battles" but only with important characters, such as your companions and the end boss...

Now for the cons...
The only and big con of this game is how impossible it is to actually be cappable of moving from 1 place to the other without getting lost...
You have to explore for everything (reaching new maps, hidden secret places, getting to see a scene, and getting to new enemies) you'll understand what I mean when you play it, the progression in that sense, feels terrible and it's the big con of it, but you'll get the hang of it, trust me, it can take you 30 mins or 2 hours to notice how to proceed to the next level of underground...

Edit: The game will also get translated very soon, past Nov 17, by Kagura Games, so really, really give it a shot, you'll be surprised and enjoy it, I assure you...

Yes, there is voice acting, awesome quality of arts, some interesting scenes duaring fights, BUT there is no (or almost no in comparison to a lot of CG that the game has) tentacle x girl intercourse WHICH WAS UNEXPECTED.

Great game if you're into clothed tentacle corruption. If you've enjoyed the first game, this one is even better as it is less tedious and has much more content. This is the type of game that makes sifting through 95% of the garbage on this site worth it.

It's got:
- Large amount of content with numerous scenes (~7-12+ hours)
- Minimal grinding for an RPGM game
- Well-designed battle fuck
- High quality artwork
- Voice acting

The core gameplay is exploring a labyrinth, with traps and mob fights. Most enemies are avoidable, and grinding is not required at all. Fights are generally easy with the exception of the final boss. Pretty much everything has a scene, including multiple variations. This includes environmental hazards, on-use items, etc. There's increasing levels of corruption, with some futa stuff later on.

As a counterpoint to the crybaby who had a mental breakdown in another review: the MTL is passable, but text is absolutely not required or a focus of the game. If you want to masturbate to books you could skip this one, but this game is exceptional if that doesn't bother you.

Remarkable Game 100% recommended for tentacle, pregnancy and corruption lovers, thts game has vocal corruption and some body modification/transformation. Translation is pretty understandable, even though sometimes "he" and "she" is usually reversed but other than that everything else is quite enjoyable. I've played this game for 7 hours and have not found a single bug, the maze system is bit confusing but that's the challenging part for most players 9/10 great game.

-You have of course the habitual : horrible translation, pronoun inverted , random word that come out of nowhere and make no sense...
-But you have also text bug like the name of the character that appear 1 time out of 20
you see it's supposed to have a name displayed because there is a empty space in the textbox for the name, but no, nothing to tell who is talking

And when you combine those 2 thing, good luck to know who is talking, to who she is talking and about what they are talking..

This need a LOT of editing to be playable
Problem is that 99% of the time, once a game have a translation, even it's it's a shitty one, it's the only it will ever get
So basically this game is wasted and dead...

If you dislike tentacles, skip this game because 95% of it is that - though I'd still recommend you give it a shot because this game is really good. The voice acting is superb, the art is unique and extremely well done. It manages to be really hot with not a lot of penetration involved, it's a very different experience to most other hentai games.
