You do know the game rework completely the code and migrated to a newer version of the Renpy engine right? So you're telling me that after years of development all saves got nuked without a single option to help 99% of the playerbase that aren't new players but have old saves?
No automatic save migration of any kind for a simple RenPy save with simple numerical values that everyone can see with RenPy save editors online?
No prepared saves that people can use in the new version?
No quickstart option where you can select your biggest choices made previously before it continues the story with the new content?
All of the above options were done many times previously by many different devs in much more complex RenPy games.
"B-BUT THE GAME ISN'T FINISHED SO THE DEV CAN DO WHATEVER HE WANTS BECAUSE OF THAT!"
Not an argument. Not everyone is a cuckold.
Subscriptions without strict content expectations is one of the worst things that could have happened to any industry. The dev seeing that he can earn the exact same or more money over time for less work month after month is an inevitability every single time. What an embarrassment.
None of that prevents any of the solutions I've outlined. You do know the game rework completely the code and migrated to a newer version of the Renpy engine right?
Why would they follow any of those "solutions" of yours? The game is meant to ship out in a whole completely new form. Why would they slap a save for you to skip all new the content they worked hard reworking on? 15 minutes of your life pressing the skip button is so hard bro.None of that prevents any of the solutions I've outlined.
I have a concern the Patreon police will drop the hammer on a lot more if they look into it.You mean this scene?

This is the repeatable "Sleep with Ain" scene and it wasn't removed. It'll become available after you allow Ain to leave the basement after her punishment.
The problem wasn't sexual content with Ain. That's obvious because there's a LOT of sexual content with Ain. The problem was that some few renders in the game made her look underaged. Namely, a handful of renders in the "welcome home" blowjob scene at the end of day 1. That scene in particular was apparently flagged in the Patreon review, so the devs simply opted to remove those renders instead of nuking the whole scene.
Except those aren't really solutions. A save migration button would not be appropriate in this case. If it were a situation where the VN were split into separate installs where the old version was kept as "season 1" like some devs do (Eg, Desert Stalker and Desert Stalker 2), then I'd agree but that's not the case here. In this case, the code was ENTIRELY revamped and the renpy version got updated and the old game version is deprecated. There would be no sense in writing in a save conversion calling back to a version that is no longer there. In this case, just start a new save and be done with it just this once. You won't have to expect to do this every update.None of that prevents any of the solutions I've outlined.
Now Im curious, explain.I still fondly remember her first version
You are crying over 10 to 20 minutes of lost gameplay, that will bring you scenes and situations that you don't even know. You can get where you were in 10 to 20 minutes. So you're telling me that after years of development all saves got nuked without a single option to help 99% of the playerbase that aren't new players but have old saves?

And we knew well in advance that the saves were going to break. The dev was very clear about code being reworked in this version ahead of the steam launch. There's also a big warning on the OP letting you know that old saves won't work. If you don't want to play through everything again, then just hold the skip button and skip all of the older content. You'll be caught up in probably less time than it would take you to complain about broken saves on F95.
