Has any of you guys tested a playthrough where they let Shani die off?
I am wondering how much the game change or will it eventually result in a game over screen?

I swear in an older version I had Shani die in "that apartment" on her personal mission and the game moved back to the home where I could play on with the MC so not an instant Game over screen, but I did reload when that happened so maybe the game over screen was just a few more clicks away lol

You’re probably referring to that part in an older version of the game where Shani was in the Zone, maybe this scene with the creature memory inside that building. I believe some changes were made later on. The switch from Shani’s perspective to Zaton’s after Shani’s death was likely a temporary situation included at the end of an update and wasn’t kept in later versions.

If that POV switch option still exists when she goes off to explore the Zone, I don’t think it’s possible to continue playing without her in the game now, since she is too important for the story.

You're probably talking about a passage where Shani was in the Zone in an older version of the game. I think the change was made later. If I'm not mistaken, there was a confrontation with some enemies in the building where Shani ends up hiding when she arrives in the Zone. What you said about the POV switch to Zaton was probably just a temporary thing, like an update ending with Shani’s death. If that option still exists when she goes off to explore the Zone, I don’t think it’s possible to keep playing without her in the game now.

There seems to be a small handful of places she can die now I think about it. On her mission with MC to those mummy zombies, in the apartment on her special mission, trapped inside that dream sequence with the lady inside a house on her special mission.. she can also die at the end of her mission to those 3 guys ambushing her? Dangerous world lol

Yeah, out of the two, Shani is the only one who can actually die, right ? I don't think Zaton can die in the current version of the game. Correct me if I'm wrong, but I find that kind of surprising.

Kateryna and Fairy solo is good for the harem scenes but I'd kill for a new Shani harem scene

By the way, Shani still doesn’t have any solo scenes in the "harem", like the repeatable ones in Zaton’s living room. I think there are a few others like that too.

I'm also going to use this opportunity to give a quick public insight on the upcoming update:
In 0.19, Shani & the MC are going back on the road, once again on the Queen's behalf. This one is going to be one big scene, that will most likely carry over to the next update after that.

The way we imagine it would leave little room for other things in this update if we were to include it all at once, so we decided to split it in order to flesh out some other small parts of the game. We've taken this opportunity to add a couple more scenes in the living room, which hasn't received love in a while now, plus some small events around the house and more!

As we're getting closer to the end of the development cycle, we’ll be able to provide a more definite date, as well as any other small pieces of content we manage to squeeze in. For now - we’re looking at within 2 months.

Oh yeah, Merneith in a carelessly thrown bathrobe and Shani apparently in the royal thermae...is what we deserve. And those guys who gave up the opportunity to “control Shani and see certain events from her POV”.. well, you all made a fatal mistake. And if this is indeed a scene in the thermae, it's a great chance for Shani to demonstrate her assertiveness and confidence.
