to be clear, the Developer of this game decided to redo some scenes due to a newer and better version of DAZ and renpy, and he changed some scenes and Dialoges because he didn't like it.
There is no content removed due to Steam Tos yet.

And some scenes could go straight into a content restoration mod (e.g. the welcome home scene w/ Ain that was nerfed after v0.16). Although I suppose some stuff may look dated / off now, since a lot has been reworked (better renders) in the latest versions?

Yeah..I started playing somewhere around version 0.4 or 0.5, and at that time, the first game scene with the raider attack was still in its original form. But since DETROIT123_io writes that he noticed some smoothing of corners in the game, even starting with v0.2, it seems that this process began almost from the very beginning of development.

So it seems Zetan was already reworking scenes before the steam release was a goal. If altered scenes that early into the game, I don´t think we can attribute that to having an eye on the steam release.
And the changes he has made haven´t really bother me. The core of what makes the game great is still there.
