VN - Ren'Py - Despair [v0.2] [keixii]

I'll start with the positive of this AVN: it is named incredibly accurately. Also, 3 or 4 of the renders are nice.

Negatives: writing, story, characterization, plot, cohesiveness, characters, repeating sentences for no good reason, presentation, pacing, the quality of English. Worst of all is that it isn't "so bad that it's good", it's just plain bad.

it's v0.2 so the rating is not for what we have already received, but rather for what I hope we will receive

Renders / Girls: 4/5
although it's quite easy to make beautiful models in HS2, many games have failed at this, but not Despair (if only some hair colors were more natural like "blonde" hair wasn't just yellow - 5/5)

Animations / Scenes: 4/5
it's hard to judge with such a small sample size, but it seems that the moving camera trick makes even a 4-frame loop into a decent animation

Story / Tension Building: -/5
again it's hard to judge, but it looks more like an ordinary VN with meaningless choices

Overall: 4/5
we can only hope that the tension will not be built up by infrequent and thin on content updates, and we will have a very good stuff
