Core Concept:

You play as a newly awakened God, born from a forgotten cosmic essence. The world is in spiritual ruin — fragmented beliefs, fading old gods, and chaotic mortals. Your goal is to establish your own divine identity, gain followers, shape doctrines, and maintain your divine essence to avoid vanishing from existence.

You choose how you ascend: through kindness, terror, manipulation, or balance.

Core Gameplay Mechanics:

Follower System

Mortals have free will. Use miracles, signs, threats, or dreams to influence them.

Every village or tribe has belief systems you can slowly reshape or overwrite.

Choices influence whether followers worship you out of love, fear, or need.

Divine Energy (Essence)

Your existence depends on faith.

Faith is generated by the strength and loyalty of your followers.

Spend Essence to perform miracles, create avatars, alter nature, or manipulate events.

Lose too much essence, and you begin to fade (both mechanically and narratively).

Every Action such as Miracle or things that can affect reality cost essence, which mean the impact of your action depends on how much essence you had.

Avatar System

You can't directly interfere at first.

Create physical vessels (avatars) to walk the world.

Avatars can be warriors, prophets, animals, or even demons depending on your doctrine.

Doctrine Customization

Create your own faith:

Before that you need to getting a servant from an intelligent individual, to manage and spread your own faith to every living being in the world.

Core virtue: e.g., Unity, Power, Knowledge, Chaos.

Worship method: Sacrifice, Rituals, Prayer, Bloodshed.

Taboo rules (e.g., No Fire, No Lies, etc.)

Holidays and Sacred Symbols.

World-Building and Influence

The bigger your faith become, the bigger impact for the society around your.

Influence climate, terrain, fertility, or disasters (e.g., make the desert bloom or cause plagues).

Compete or ally with other fading gods or false prophets.

Dynamic events: heresy, holy wars, migrations, or divine challenges.

Moral Choice System

Morality
is key features to determines how your followers will behave in the future, lower their morality they are the more depraved their behavior.

No good or evil. Every method has a price.

Benevolent gods may gain slower followers but deeper devotion.

Cruel gods may rise faster but risk rebellion and inner decay.

I have always loved those type of games where you have to manage resources and such.

The concept looks crazy interesting, do you think it would be possible to add a feature in which the player summons an herald to posses and directly impact the result of an event (for example a war)
