Developer softwares for making high grapic images

By using Ren'py u can make VN but i was thinking about the images??. Which softwares do developers use to make such good render images apart from Daz 3d

Sometimes I take a picture of myself and send it to others saying it's a realistic 3d picture of me.

DAZ is really the most popular for making 3d, but you can use Blender or even Poser (I don't think I ever saw someone make a game using it, tho)

And that's it? I'm not sure if there's other options for someone making VN's.

There are softwares to make render images, but to make "high grapic" ones you need skills... If you ever find them, let me know where, because I am in dire need of them.
