Hi there guys,

I wanted to share my development journey here as I develop Pirate Conquest (still a codename). Pirate Conquest is an RPG with management style game in which you will experience and explore the world of the Fading Realms from the point of view of a demotivated outcast that all of a sudden gets his spark for conquer awokened once again.

The development of the game is at a very early stage, I started working on it 4months ago and more frequently last month. However, I am forcing myself to write here to start interacting with the community and build the game along what you guys want.

My personal goals from this project are, in no particular order:
- Learn to make games
- Meet people, and hopefully build a team
- Gather support and potentially make a living of this (it even feels weird writing it down like this)

However, my primary focus is to deliver something enjoyable for myself and others. I am here because I don't think I can do this alone and I want to see it happen.
Some screenshots & features already in the game:

My roadmap for the version 0.01 includes lots of things that I still need to do, here are some:
  • implement quest system
  • implement battle system v2 (skills, status effects)
  • implement first sex scene
  • finish writing and implementing first three quests
  • implement crafting system
  • implement more actions to spend money (currently just buying potions)
  • implement basic exploring system
  • implement main questline v0.01 (extended intro)

I can't say how much time this will take but once thing is for sure, for the sex scenes I need some cool art to add. I am looking for an artist to draw them, if you are interested DM me your portfolio. At the moment, I am looking for paying directly for assets. However if someone that also is passionate about the project comes along, a partner to share profits is also interesting.

As you can see, the project is quite ambitious (there's loads of features that I have in mind) and its still brewing.
Let me know what you think, I'll be very happy to get some feedback.
