VN - Ren'Py - Abandoned - Deviancy [v0.4 Bugfix] [Mr. B0NES]

Dialogs here are definitely one of the best that I have read in VNs. I laughed hard quite a number of times, enjoying every minute spent. I would definitely add “humor” tag here.
Expect absolutely no standard clichés, very cool and refreshing story and scenes the MC gets himself into. Sister's character is so well revealed and shown.
Even if it gets abandoned (which I truly hope will not be the case), this VN is a “must-have” to enjoy, otherwise you will surely miss a lot of fun. Trully amazing experience. Please Mr.Bones do continue this VN!

WOW... absolutely wow.... The dialogs in the game are one of the best if not the best across all the games that I have played. Personality of the main characters is amazing nice humour as well. Played the game multiple times just for all the liz scenes. The plot looks intriguing as well. Keep up the good work

I absolutely LOVE this game. The dialogue is soo good, on a level you don't see in stuff like this. Every character is extremely witty and the almost every dialogue tries to make you laugh and succeeds most of the time. This type of quippy, witty dialogue generally tends to get old and falls flat after some time, but the writer manages to pull it off here.
The renders are also good but I can't get over how good the dialogues are. None of the characters are realistic but they are amazingly funny. Their character designs are unique and their personalities are also well defined. I will support this game. I don't remember the last time I laughed so much. The writer makes a lot of pop culture references and I don't know how to feel about the fact that I most of them.
If you want to play an extremely funny game with great visuals and an good story, this is the game for you.

This is swiftly becoming one of my favorite games. I love the snappy dialogue, I love the characters, and the pace is nice and leisurely without feeling like it's stagnating. I'm only a little over halfway done with the current release's material, but it's already got me hooked. Just a really fantastic game so far.

Could use a little polish in a few places, mostly some proofing. And the sister's lack of eyelashes during the first couple of days in-game was... weird. But that was fixed later, and she looks a lot better afterward. Also, dev has missed at least one spot where the default name is still in the game instead of whatever name you've given her.

Other than little issues like that, the game is excellent. Couldn't recommend it more.

I've finally managed to get through the content of v0.3 and v0.4 and I have to say what a drag.

I said it previously but the banter is just painful, it could be cut down by half but it would still feel too much at some points.

The MC thinks he is the perfect guy but is actually a total idiot and looks terrible.

In the last scene, we finally got a glimpse of what the story could be but fucking hell why another shitty crime story. And wow it has to do with the shitty aunt. I wasn't interested in her from the beginning but the part with her boy toy made her not even worth having as a sidepiece in the harem.

When it comes to the girls for the harem I don't know if there are even enough girls left in the game to be worth playing for, lost interest in most of them because of the writing and the few left will probably fall to the same fate in the next update. At the moment I'm only interested in exactly 3 girls Suzy, Lucy, and Abigail.

As much as I wanted to like this game there is way too much fluff and or pointless conversation with the people in class that makes up 90% of the game. On top of that you have options to flirt or build love points with all these 15 other female characters you meet and you don't have sex with any of them just the short girl with purple hair.

All these other girls are introduced and it seems the DEV is more focused on making the dialogue funny and it literally detracts from the story. The MC goes on a date with a random girl he meets, ends up back at her house just to end up kissing and asking her to be his girlfriend and no sex like wtf?

The DEV focuses WAYYY too much on the school I was skipping ahead after a while and it was scene after scene of pointless activities. Things like getting a drink and the MC calling a girl a bitch for being rude. None of these activities seemed relevant and for the love of goodness DEV don't introduce all these other characters then make all the scenes with just one person.

It feels like a bait and swith to be honest. But for real though 90% of the game is just scenes in the school that mean nothing that introduce you to characters that you do nothing with and is just pointless not worth it for 4 scenes with the same person.

Genre : Typical teenage/school drama boringly served with a dish side of clichés : the wildcat, the bookworm, the sporty one, the rich princess and the bullies....just to name few of them. And, of course, let's not forget the handsome and irresistible MC hung like a horse.

Writting : I usually like slow burn stories along with good dialogs, puns and verbal jousting...when it's done in a balanced way. But what I just got through was an indigestible fat meal full of text that were just there to fill blanks due to a lack of solid story. (Thanks fastforwrd key.)

Story/Plot : It's only at the end of the version that we see something that looks like it might be part of a future plot and a dream sequence from the MC at some point.....that is all.

Renders : are very well done and assets are not the one we see in almost every game nowadays. Animations are not very exciting but they are ok even if a bit short.

Sex scenes : are very scarce and it's all or nothing. Mostly teasing along the play and during a photoshoot you have various actions with some characters.

I think out of the multitude of characters I've been introduced to by now I would only class two attractive, the sister (despite her terrible hair) and the school teacher. Most of the character models look like they are from early genesis days.

Dialogue seems to try too hard to be edgy and the story doesn't seem to be going anywhere.

Some renders are decent but then there are plenty of sloppy ones with badly fitting clothes, clipping through objects, bad and un-natural lighting.

An enjoyable wincest game. It's fun to have a game where the sister is the instigator right from the start and she's very very cute.

I love the different models, they are pretty and most of them are unique, I especially love the mum and the teacher, very well done. Special note to the expressions there's a ton of variety and they are well executed.

The aunt totally missed the mark, like in most games here on F95 it seems the dev has never seen a fashion model (looking at you MrDots). Unless she's an erotic or lingerie model I don't buy it. But she's only in the game for a bit so who knows what happening behind the door she goes in at the end...

There isn't really a story yet and looking at the speed things are going, I don't expect much of a story for a while. It's fine, still enjoyed myself.

My biggest criticism are the dialogues. They are just too wordy. I like the banter between the siblings but it just needs to be shortened. Half of it would be more than enough. I found myself skipping a lot.
Not a fan of the interactions with the side chars at school either. I'm not a bro at all but am forced to accept a guy I don't like as a bro/ friend, a bit more choice in who to interact with at school would be welcome.

So 3.5 stars from me

[v0.4] Truly excellent, funny writing. A joy to read. Interesting, relatable, attractive LIs and MC. Story is not very original or interesting so far, but in this case I did not mind at all. Good models and renders.

A decidedly average game.

Personally i hated that you already had a relationship to the sister from before the game started.

Dialogue is good enough, but there's alot of it and i don't really care to sit through so much, so alot of holding down Ctrl.

Animations are less than a second long.. Two if you count the reverse playback. It's alot of stiff repetetive movement, and at bad angles.

Models are so so, not bad but not good either.

These choices with strange otherwise unknown outcomes, that u need a WT to know. It's beyond me why they exist in games.

If you don't expect it to be good or have high standards, you can probably enjoy the game.

[v0.3] Holy shit this game is fun! It has the most hilarious, effortlessly flowing banter I've ever seen in a video game! Characters with real personalities, confident women, well-written funny story (for an incest game), fluent dialogue, perfect grammar, witty British mannerisms and the absolute best Mass Effect reference ever

I'm really looking forward to more of this one!

Very nice female models:

• A pretty not mother.
• A very cute not sister (which might or might not look like she's 15).
• Very beautiful sweet schoolgirls.
• A pretty female teacher.

They all are interesting characters.

The narrative is occasionally a bit wordy, but in good British English and with a lot of witty humor.

The story might be called a bit "porn-driven", i.e. girls tend to like the protagonist, but in my opinion it's not bad at all.

Good renders. Nice pacing. Gimme more!

The game (3.0) has a lot going for it, but the negatives made me stop playing.

Pros: The characters are very well thought out and distinct. They have development to them so that you will grow to love some and hate others as well. Each has their issues and are written in a way that makes you want to keep reading to see how that character will develop. Plus the interaction between them are very funny as well. The banter between certain characters are very well written. The visual design looks nice as well. The overall look to the game is pleasing and is above average.

Cons: While the visual design is very nice, the execution seems to be off a bit. At times there is clipping and there are some visual issues (like hair) that just doesn't seem to be done properly. Also some of the conversations go on and on. It seems like they could have gotten to the point, then just kept talking for way too long just to throw in a few extra jokes, and then keep talking some more. I think the biggest issue I ended up having in the end it that the whole game seemed to be a subtle propaganda for socialism. There are quite a few comments and even conversations on how bad capitalism is and how wonderful socialism is. I want to play a game here, not be preached at by a socialist. It is obvious the students in this game never studied history or economics.

a hilarious slowburner - the writing is very good
its a wall of text to read , but i dont care here because of the funny writing
(i tend to abandon those with too much reading)
there are a lot references to cult games like FF , Mass Effect
(that blitzball-movie event - lol´d hard here )
the thoughts of the protagonist and the npc are sometimes weird but funny
(well some are lead to nothing - just fill-ins)

the renders and animations are not outstanding but very good
(remember its a 1-dev game - a lot of work for 1 )

Natasha - wild , direct and i think deeply hurt by a event we have to wait for to reveal

Victor - i dont like bro-mance stuff , a big no no for me
gladly ,at this game it doesnt lead (yet) to weird forced actions
(no i dont point to gay-stuff)

Suzy - cute , horny , jealous , alot of trouble

Abigail - dont know what to think about her , rich girl with no bitchy attitude (so far)-on new concept

Not going to lie but I do like this game but there is one simple problem I have with it that meant it only gets 3 stars.

The banter between cast members is fine but they tend to go on and on a little too much and don't really add anything to the story or background for the cast.

I think the dev is only adding this banter (too much) as padding and it detracts away from an overall enjoyable game.

I don't recall this being an issue in the previous updates but as of update 0.3 this banter was just a little too much.

Edit: At the time of writing the review I hadn't completed day 6 yet and boy the dev is trying to make the MC witty but just doesn't hit the mark and just seriously going on for far too long.

Fucking heck, limited time to hide and what does the MC want to do is waste time arguing and wanting to know about shit that he doesn't need to know about right now - this to me is clearly padding and doesn't need to be there and for this I have to reduce my review to 2 stars.

I really enjoyed this game and liked the twist on the brother sister relationship. Models all look really nice and the animations are pretty solid if not uniformly great. The writing is very good and the relationship between the Browning's is great. A the one nitpicks is the banter it is fun for the most part but a bit overkill, every single person is a stand up and it can get a bit tiresome especially since that is pretty much the entirety of the script: Go some place, meet friends, shoot the shit. There is a bit of a plot going on and some set up for some drama in the future, so hopefully as things actually start happening there'll be a bit more balance between the action and the dialogue. Overall though a great start and a lot of content for a game in it's early phases here's hoping things keep getting more interesting, especially considering the latest episode's cliffhanger.
Highly recommended for the MC's relationship with his sister and mom and an overall good looking game and well written script

Why?

The Story is just great written so far! The Renders and the animations are nearly perfect. Okay, some woman don´t look that good, but you dont get lewd with them.
The way the Teacher is speaking? I cannot stop laughing how funny it is! That cussing is just hilarious hahaha Wonderful!!!
The Updates are quite large.
If you read the Story complete then you got a lot of hours of gameplay. Well, this is a novel and if you just come for the lewd scenes you will miss a lot of funny text! Thats for sure

So i hope you try this and love it like i do!

This is an excellent title comprised of quality renders, witty banter, and believable characters. In other words: it's time well spent.

The story is well written and having an established relationships with the sister is a huge plus to my mind, as is the MC trying to slow things down. It's quite refreshing – especially given the social insecurities of the sister – and a nice contrast to how things usually and do develop with the mom. The latter being a true milf in every sense of the word(…s) making both characters well worth pursuing.

The supporting cast is quite varied ranging from bookwormy to sporty, from timid to spicy. That being said, not all of the potentially wooable characters had enough spotlight yet to have them grow beyond their initial stereotypes. I do like the choice of the milfy neighbor not being portrayed as a cougar (though smooth runs the water where the brook is deep) which also leaves the spot open to be filled by the yet to encounter aunt.
