It's a very good start. The art style is perfect for this type of game, and it's similar enough to the original to be recognisable. Obviously, it needs a lot more work. For example, not every scene has a background yet. I also think the background music is a little too eerie to play all the time — it's not bad, I just imagine something else for romance scenes. The writing is pretty good too; the setup is similar to the Eternity Devil arc in the manga, and it works well in this context. The characters largely feel true to their original personalities, which is one of the most important things to get right. However, sometimes their behaviour still feels a bit off. Then again, it's hard to create a completely faithful adaptation of characters in this genre, since you want the plot to move in certain "direction". Everything seems to be coming together nicely, but most things are still rough around the edges.
As for future development, I would recommend implementing choices. What would happen if you didn't stop when Power asked? What if you could help Himeno and Aki with their romance? It might be a lot of work, but I think this could introduce some replayability. But maybe these are already planned and I'm just an idiot who didn't read the development plans. In any case, I think this one will be a banger given enough time. I really hope you can finish this game, and I wish you luck!
