So yeah, do you ever jerk to your own material? Creating characters in Illusion games and having a jerk doesn't count though.
I find it near impossible to get turned on by characters and scenes I write because I just end up analyzing them to see what I can do better. Plus, for me at least, being the mastermind behind the scene kills all the thrill and excitement of seeing it for the first time. Also, I write characters using bits and pieces of me and my personality, so jerking to them feels like jerking to myself in the mirror, figuratively.
