Did I get hacked?

So I just finished playing an entire AVN then deleted the file along with some honey select mods that I no longer use. To be specific, I deleted a file worth 6.5 gbs.

Now the reason im asking if I was hacked was because my free storage is 12gb left (Yes I'm aware that I have a shit load of flies), then after deleting said file, my OS now states I have 167 gb, but where in the tf did I get the extra 120 gb? I also scanned through my files and as far as I know (Thank God) nothing was deleted but where in the world did I get this extra space? did an AVN have some malware that caused this issue?

maybe your trashcan still held many GB and you along the latest deletions emptied the trashcan?

another thing might be that your HD/SSD uses a very large blocksize and that the deleted archives held a LARGE number of tiny files.
even the tiniest little file will occupy minimum 1 such blocksize. So an unzipped archive full with 1000 files <1kB (= 1 MB) on disk with blocksize=4MB may then occupy 4GB in diskspace (actually more I think).

if a virus would be interested in deleting your files you'd be looking at a command line prompt now, at best.

I wish my computer would get hacked like this. I need more free space. Right now, I only have 8 GB of space left.

100 bucks is approximately a quarter of the minimum wage in the country I live in. so...
Just saying - hard-disk space has become so dirt-cheap that there is basically no excuse. Check ' ' ones if you want to save extra on them

P.S. Not a fan of Amazon but was the quickest link I could grab. I am sure your country has dealers specialized in that stuff as well

Thank you for your suggestions but after rent and bills, I don't have much left. Most of the time, I even have to cut back on food expenses. So for now I won't be able to buy any parts for my computer. Maybe one day in the future.
