Ren'Py - Divine Heel [v0.2.0] [ERONIVERSE]

Art and scenes are pretty nice, a reasonable diversity of LIs, some attention was paid to clothing.

Writing is tolerable but unremarkable. There are lots of mistakes which indicate a lack of fluency. Still, it's mostly comprehensible. It tries to be funny and paint emotional backstory, but it's mostly unoriginal and shallow.

There aren't any relevant choices or game mechanics (yet?) and from a technical standpoint it's a cookie-cutter Ren'Py game. Although there's a sandbox UI so far it's basically just going from event to event.

This is a japanese style game at heart with the obsolete Koikatsu graphics replaced with cartoon'ish characters and backdrops. The script is the usual drivel with lots and lots of talk and "thoughts" for the most mundane thing. Sex scenes are Meet'n'Fuck style and the rest is put together to complement the absurd plot, but wait, that was actually the best part because as soon as the intro ends and you find your new employers sandbox mode kicks in and it's time to fulfill dozens and dozens of random tasks. At that point I decided I had enough.

If you're 10 though you may find this funny.

Perfect! Great drawing style and animations and insanely capturing plot and characters - with beautiful bodies and insanely seductive urges. Looking for more for sure of this great adventure novel... Wish animations were a bit longer but content looks more than promising.

One of the best renpy games i've ever played.

It doesn't have the weird ultra realistic 3D animation that many renpy games go for, but the characters still maintain a human look while having a solid touch of the artists artstyle.

Solid amount of sex scenes so far, without a super convoluted plot that allows you to access sex scenes reasonably quickly.

The only thing that could make this game better is tons more content, cause I can't get enough!

Is the game good? Yes. Do I recommend it? Yes.

For the visuals alone, it's already a winner. If you've played Confined with Goddesses, you know where the game is going. So far, the characters and the scenes available are incredibly hot, hotter than their previous game which was already great visually. Maybe it's the novelty of a different game engine being used which makes the girls so visually unique.

The girls themselves are archetypical but then as you play and get to know them more, they're not as cookie-cutter as you would believe them to be. Not even as close to the characters from the previous game. This is a positive for me because this makes the girls this time are far more interesting to interact and converse with.

Which brings us to the next part which has also been an improvement from the previous game - dialogue. How well written the characters are, how the MC talks with each girls are even more better this time. To be honest, I couldn't believe that this is from the same creator because of how much more I like the chemistry between our MC and the girls, and I can't wait for more of it.

Another improvement is the story. It's not just, "Let's fuck all the girls in the house!" No, it has much more foundation this time where the creator can cook up whatever crazy plot they want to do next because let's face it, the setting of a world post-pandemic with some weird side effect to the population is kooky enough that anything's possible without it being too far out.

As for the sandbox, I have gripes with it. Is it enough for me to not play it? No. Is it enough to knock off a star? No, but I still want to say my piece. I both have something I'm glad for and a problem with it.

What I'm glad for is that the raising of stats is no longer here and that to progress through each girl's story, you just need to go wherever it happens next - a change that I am very happy with and in my opinion, should be something all sandbox games strive for.

My problem is that there is no order to these encounters, twice now I have seen an event with a girl where she says she's jacked/blew the MC before that I never saw. I had to go through the Main Events to see the part the girls were referring to which means that I have technically skipped through the story. Maybe this wasn't an issue for the people who played this game on its first version and done so every update but for someone like me that only first played it on version 0.1.9, it's jarring and breaks the immersion.

It's a minor issue, you could say I nitpicked it and I did because I want this game to be amazing because I know it can be.

If you're still on the fence even after seeing the preview images - give it a try and be surprised.

My message to Eroniverse: Keep up the good work! This is a tremendous improvement and I can't wait for more. The events for the girls having a flow would be nice, but not a deal breaker for me.

TLDR: 9/10. A simple and (currently) short game focused on sex. Nothing that you haven't seen before, but nothing that you should look away. My maths give me a 8/10 but fuck it, it's good.

Review for v0.1.8

Story: It takes place after COVID. The virus somehow make women hornier and sluttier (so far a cliche) but men become impotent (that's a twist). Somehow, the MC is blessed by a goddess and he's has a gigantic cock (back to the cliche), all that while the MC gets a new job and starts living with 3 beautiful and horny women. There some more story elements but the story is as dumb as it sounds, but for a sex based games works really well and doesn't need much more. It sets and delivers the development in the exact way it wants. Great job. Story:9/10

Writing: The way I see it, these games can have one of two type of stories:

• Attempting to make a well thought and developed story that makes the game as interesting and enjoyable as the sex itself.
• A silly and fast but funny story mostly focused on finding reasons to fuck.

This game fits in the second type. The writing does a good job moving the story forward and connecting the events. I much prefer story-based games so sometimes it bothers me how much it doesn't even tries to go for a "smarter" writing, but that's on me, I knew what kind of game it would be from the moment I started it. On sex scenes, the game goes for the soft femdom "good boys deserve a reward" style which I don't really dig. I won't rest points just because I don't like it but I can't say it's well done either. Overall the writing does a solid job. Writting: 8/10

Characters: So far 5 women and 1 man (and 1 dog). The man is there to be hated and that works perfectly. Since all women are sex starved horny bitches (because story), sometimes they all behave the same and it can be hard to find some individuality on them because it gets drown on the sex-starving side. What doesn't get drown is still good. One has marital issues, another one never had a boyfriend, another one really wants a.... best friend? That one doesn't make much sense. The characters aren't a weak point, but they are definitely not a strong one. Characters: 6.5/10

The game itself: I don't rate this section so it won't affect the score, but this can hardly be called a "game". There is only one choice and (I think) it's completely meaningless. Most people only care about jerking off, and it works perfectly for that, but as a "game" it would be a solid 1/10.

Sandbox: I think internal WT in Sandboxes are a must, this game goes beyond that and makes it super easy to tell where the events are, which is even better. The map has like 6/7 locations but only 2 are available for now, which makes the map kinda pointless, and you have to manually advance the day/night cycle because events don't do that, which makes the "time" feel pointless as well. I appreciate how simple is to find the events but so far it feels like it'd be better handled in a VN format. The map will make more sense in future updates probably, but I have to judge what I have in hand now. Sandbox: 5/10

Drawings/Art: This is where it shines the most. I'll split it in two (I'll ignore the character's sprite when in conversations).

CGs: Godlike. I'm sure 99% of player saw a CG or two and thought "That's all I need to know" and downloaded the game. Everything is hot, everything is sexy, everything looks good, everything works, everything fits the place that is supposed to fit. CGs: 10/10

Sex scenes/animations: Fuck 120fps animations, I'll always choose quality and attention to details over framerate. Not only the sex animations are hot as fuck (the walking/ass-tits bouncing are boring for me but I'm not expecting much from those), you can tell how much she wants it and how hard she's working for it. As I said before, the femdon isn't my thing, but the sex animations are still godlike: Sex scenes/aniamtions: 10/10

Code/Bugs: There is a bug after event 8 that won't show you more events after that. It's super easy to fix even without patches, but you still have to look for the solution and I found that the bug is there since release. It isn't a buggy game at all, it would be a 10/10, but if the bug is so old, why it's still there? Feels lazy tbh. Code/Bugs: 8/10.

Review for v0.1.8

Divine Heel is probably one of the best examples of a good fuckfest-style game that I have come across, which is a genre of lewd game I more often than not end up disliking. While it does contain many of your typical tropes and isn't going to win an award for its writing, the game oozes charm that makes up for a lot of potential shortcomings. Not to mention, the lewd stuff is pretty hot too.

The game takes place on an island where some type of disease has left most men impotent, the MC being one such person. This has rendered most women on the island sex-starved. But, being someone pure of heart, an angel ends up blessing the MC to have a big cock and removing his inability to form an erection. You can kind of imagine how things go from there.

It's essentially a slice of life sandbox. As the overview mentions you become a live-in helper surrounded by three hot women. The dialogue is more on the goofy side, but most events consist of lighthearted scenarios like helping the girls shop, swimming in the pool, walking a dog, etc etc. It works very well for the game. There's no grind or money/stats to manage, the sandbox simply allows you to view events (and repeatable oens) at your leisure in an order of your choosing. It's a style I've seen used in a few lewd games and I always like it.

The girls make the game. Despite them all throwing themselves at the MC, they still exude a lot of personality that makes it pretty easy to enjoy interacting with them. It's just fun really, and of course hot too. The sex scenes, though few in number as of now, are pretty solid. Combined with the games unique graphical style and good use of sound effects really makes them hit.

The only reason this isn't a five stars for me is simply because it just needs to be filled out more. There's a decent chunk to sink your teeth into, but there's still a LOT missing. Still, very much a game I plan on returning to down the line.

excellent game, the story is entertaining, it's Sambox the way I love it, I like having the freedom to move wherever I want and do the girls' routes in the order I want, something I love are its graphics, 50 percent realistic, 50 percent caricature, it is very balanced, I highly recommend it.

So much potential, with some of the hottest girls i have seen on this website. Currently there is no penetration content, but it's still worth the play. I cannot wait to watch the progress this game makes.

[v0.1.8] Amazing lighthearted game. Great writing, sometimes little bit too anime like for my taste but still has a good sense of humor so i like it. Scenes are great, mostly with animation and great expressions on the models. Overall the game is really polished and feels like a premium experience, the dev knows what they are doing. I would strongly recommend anyone to give it a go

Currently it has 25 events, all of them are pretty good.
All the characters are interesting, the story is ok (the main character is a little goofy and sometimes cringeworthy, eg: the girl becoming his best friend just because he helped her one time, but not everybody is going to play this for the story) top notch art and good scenes.
If you liked Confined with Goddesses i recommend you to play this one.

Not a lot of content yet, but what there is so far is excellent. I'm glad that so far there seems to be more emphasis on PoV animations than his last project. Looking forward to more content of this quality.

not much to see yet, but seeing as how their last game was pretty damn good i cant wait for future updates.

Sidenote, animations do seem to be choppy/low frame rate at times. would love to see smoother animations at some point, not sure if its purposeful // a limitation of the engine.

Although we dont have much content yet, the art is absolutely stunning and the girls are very original, something that is very rare for games on this site. Really looking forward to this one, tons of potential.

I can't say it is a great game because it has important flaws, but I surely would like to be able to. First of, the story is completely moronic. It is something I expected but it still is a pity and this time it is even stupidier than before. On the other hand, the gameplay seems to be improved, even if so far there is little to judge.

On the other hand, the art is great. Girls are very well done and different from generic models. Animations so far are plenty and very well done. We'll see how the game develops but I think that it's worth it even if just for the art.

This dev's last game "Confined with Goddesses" was very good, and this one is looking to be just as good or better. The models are great, the writing is solid. It is still early, but I would keep an eye on this game.

Fan of the OG Confined with Goddesses before he switched to 3D animations but still a great game. I know that the story will probably take as long if not longer to have actual development past teasing since there are so many characters, so I'll be back in a year or 2 once the first BJ is in the game.

Very good introduction. So similar with your other game. I love the design and the animation. Now all looks more in 3 dimension. Models are so beautiful, i hope in a nice story as well. Please hurry up with the update.

A spiritual successor to Confined with Goddesses. It's a bit light on content for an initial release in my opinion, but whatever engine or system the dev is using, they appear to have gotten a lot better at it. The characters are lit better, there's more dynamic animation, it all seems to be a step up from CwG, which I already was a fan of.

The protagonist is a little wimpy for my tastes, but he exists in such a surreal exaggerated world with so many hot powerful women that it kind of works. I hope a more aggressive character like the purple haired woman from CwG gets added down the line, but we'll see. This 4 star review is a bit of a placeholder since there isn't too much game yet, but the foundation is strong and the creator has in my opinion a good track record. Plan on updating at a 0.2 or 0.3 release.
