Do we need VPN?

Hi, how you guys been?

So recently I started watching a lot of deep web or dark web (which ever you prefer) videos, and it made think about a few things. I been here for a couple of months and when it comes to the internet I feel like I haven't even scratch the surface from what I know, specially websites like this ones, so my question is do we need a vpn when we used this website?

P.S. I couldn't find any rule regarding this type of questions so I believe I'm safe from a strike, but if I miss the rule, please don't strike, but let me know so I can delete this post when I get back online.

P.S.S. I'm just curious about this, I don't intend to offend, upset or scared nobody.

Indeed.. VPN With the Dark web is pretty much a MUST...
And off course that some browsers cannot even acces most of the dark web.

But most important...
Surfing/downloading/watching things on the dark web is like a minefield.(Malware and many other virusses). (in my personal expierence at least)
So you need a very, very good firewall/scanner.. Better yet, more then 1.
And that's talking about the surface of the black web..

If you go deeper to the real black web stuff....Well there are a whole lot of other measures you need to take into account. (i'm talking about Taping up your webcam, microfones, and anonymous everything..... In short become NEO )

I stopped going to the dark web a while back, and although you pretty much can find everything your heart desires over there.... It's really is not worth the stress

And i don't count sites likes this to the Dark web... Not even close

I use HMA since 2 years and I'm greatly satisfied. The main reason I chose a VPN was to bypass p2p's monitoring, but I also do it to escape Google's damn spying. Thanks to my work, I discovered the " Dark Side " of this search engine. 90% of the things you do on it is recorded and registered in a thing called " Big Data " - Also used in marketing. Tbh, it's not harmful, but I hated the fact of seeing " sports ads" 10 seconds after watching a " work out idea " vid on YouTube, for example. So, yeah, I'd recommend anyone to get a VPN, because true freedom doesn't exist on the Internet.

I guess the answer depends on where you are situated.
If it is a place where porn -> prison (resp. "perverted" porn, gay stuff, ...), then maybe better VPN for everything.

Always use VPN everywhere, even on safe and trusted websites like this one.
VPN is one of those things that come in handy, especially if you travel, so just set it and forget, can't go wrong with it

I live in Australia, they have blocked all torrent sites here, while I know of quick work arounds it was only recently they blocked my private site so now I use a vpn just for it, don't use it nowhere else.

Also a VPN isn't 100% secure, so if porn -> prison, then maybe, you have think about whether or not it's worth it...

Personally I use a VPN to use torrents. But using that, would get me at most a $1000 or so fine where I live. Which I am ok with, if it would happen.

I, however, don't want to be decapitated because I looked at some porn...
