I really like the renders and the situations but this game refuses to be fun to play. Everything takes forever, enemies spawn more enemies and heal for annoying amounts so its not that the fights are particularly hard, they just take absolutely forever. Let me explain the dimensional anomaly to you to illustrate how this author designs "difficulty":
-You cannot save in this dungeon. This is going to sting a lot more than you think.
-The dungeon is dark so you have to use torches to light the area around you (think rock tunnel in pokemon) - except the torches run out in real time, needing you to spam them. You can try to navigate in the dark which leads to the next problem
-The dungeon is a complete maze with randomly roaming and teleporting enemies. It wants you to pull 7 levers to open up a door with a treasure room, and guess what, there is a ton of decoy levers in out of the way places that just waste time if you go for them.
-Three boss enemies roam this dungeon and 2 of them won't let you run away. If you happen to be cornered (more likely than you think) running isnt an option for either of them anyways. These bosses have massive amounts of self healing that both does damage and increases your lust which leads to follow up attacks that can level them up - I have seen one boss get *16* levels at once this way. Needless to say, there is a very high chance to lose to them, even if you are stupidly overleveled. Did I mention they can massively buff themselves by turning into giant size? Cuz they also do that.
-If you lose any fight or teleport out, the switches get reset, forcing you through this insane gauntlet all over again.
I dont see how anyone thinks this is fun. Thankfully, the game spawns a Djinn that is essentially a cheat menu and I suggest liberally using her, because there is no joy or fun to be found beating this game legit.
