HTML - Domination Mansion [v0.3.5] [Raziel Games]

Im not sure why people rate this thing so high. I'ld pend between a 2 and a 3 here, even for an HTML game- opting for the more generous variant in the end.

While the fights are halfway functional and designed reasonable, they are certainly not state of the art for porn games. The h-scenes consist out of a bunch of real porn pics- at least chosen accordingly, but without any animations or video files, (almost) no sound (some generic sex-clap-sound etc. aside, but there is no moaning or any thoughtfull sex sfx), they are generally way too short and not supported by good writing. You win/lose a fight and afterwards you click through 2-3 pics of some well known pornstar with 4-5 more or less fitting sentences of text. Meh.

Amount of content is quite small at best and there is annoying bugs in the game. It might work for you somehow to squeeze one out if you are in the represented kinks/tags, but even if thats the case don't expect too much.

Pros
+ One of the most fun smut games to play. The sex fights have decent depth and variety, due to each enemy having a unique set of weaknesses and resistances. Each of your moves have a 4 turn cooldown, forcing you to attack various weaknesses for optimal damage. Instead of losing fights to see the scene, progress happens as your are winning the fight. It's a game where the combat & gameplay progression makes me really excited to see new updates
+ The story concept is decent & the characters are ok

Cons
- A lot of major bugs. Many bugs, but only some of them get fixed. Some of these are bugs are game breaking or cause the game to softlock. So you want to save often and make many separate saves. I'm not sure if the dev actually reads any of the bug posts on this thread, because they don't reply Edit: Many of the bugs have been recently fixed
- Not as much content per update compared to before (update v0.2). Now a days you only get 1 new fight and a bunch of bugs
- story pace is very slow because not much happens in each update
- Multiple gender paths (male, female or futa), and consequences for major choices may be slowing the pace of development down. It would have been better to keep it simple and focus on one path, rather than try to appeal to everyone

Conclusion
If this game got more content per update, more enemies, and no major bugs, then this would be a great game.

An HTML, real porn game actually worth checking out. Good writing, with pacing being the biggest highlight for me. Sure, you need to get to the action quickly, so the game does. But then the girl is not just discarded but actually has something interesting to say, and she won't answer some questions to create mystery. Then the game makes you visit her again for something unrelated and gives you the option to get to know her better. By the time the dreaded "wall of text" drops you actually should be interested enough to read it. I was.

The models chosen are OK-ish, but not my cup of tea. I'd actively avoid 90% of the cast while browsing for porn, and even then the scenes chosen are not their best imo. They stay consistent however, even in the scenarios the game presents, so props for that. Still, it may not have been worth it to cast a clearly middle aged woman as a virgin. I also didn't really appreciate being forced into futa encounters, even though the writing was actually charming.

There's plenty of bugs, so keep your saves in order. Most of them are minor but some should be considered game breaking. But the reason I'm not giving this 5 stars is that while I love the idea of a porn game revolving around the actual fucking and not some sideline cookie-clicker bullshit, the combat system seems to reward not having fun and save scumming. Almost everytime something interesting happens it's a trap. Sometimes it's a break-even scenario, mostly you just eat shit. In the version I played you get "spells" to just turn off the combat for a while and just enjoy the scenes. If progressing through those was actually how you won the encounters this game would have been amazing.

Great story
Great characters (seriously they are all unique and interesting)
Great cast
Veried fetishes
Interesting combat
Love (usually it's not the focus in such games but there are multiple characters who you'll probably end up in love with, without spoiling there is a lovely character you meeting in the beginning and another tran/futa character, if you went through their quest line you'll understand what I am saying)

Cons:
Extremely slow updates
Some plot holes appear while your transforming (many won't even comment on your transformation)

Great content, simple but interesting gameplay scenes, hope it will continue to develop.

I enjoy the html slop out there. Among the legions of that slop, there are rare gems. For a game that uses real porn imagery too, often considered the lowest bar, Domination Mansion comes out swinging. The only other games that I can really compare it to are the likes of Love and Vice, and The Company, both excellent games in their own right, and this one is squaring up to stand among them.

From a gameplay perspective, the game succeeds in surpassing that greatest pitfall of the HTML game, the pointless grind, right from the get-go. Exploring the mansion is simple and making progress is easy, which is so much better then the usual clicking 1000+ times in a circle hoping for something to happen. As you explore, you meet a variety of characters to engage in the game's rather novel attempt at a battlefuck system. It works out well, but is a little unbalanced as of now, with the difference in impact of most moves being dismissably negligible 90% of the time. As you fight, you can EXP, as well as sub, dom, and addiction points, which further shape your interactions, which is neat.

There is also surprising variety in the gameplay itself, and how it relates to its other systems. Or failing that, it at least feels impactfully different. Playing a sub or dom feels distinctly different from each other, and I hope to see this evolve more as the trans and female routes are expanded on.

The story is simple, but the characters are enjoyable, and the threads are there to develop some really interesting plot threads, which in turn can lead to smoking hot sex. The character Kimmy in particular is one I'm looking forward to more development with.

Speaking of, the sex is great too, which I guess is why most people are probably here. The sex battles are great as an idea, a little clunky in execution, but it fits the world and story great, and manages to keep the sexy going without dragging the pace of the game down.

The UI could use a little flaring up to look prettier and maybe play a little better, but I consider this of minimal import, and would much rather see the game excel in its already established strengths. The various characters and systems can also feel a little separate from each other, and I'm fine with that. I'd rather the scope be kept narrow and focus on what its already showing us its good at rather then attempting to create a sprawling, interconnected story. I just hope that as the game continues to be developed, it can keep things clear in its vision and can get things done without having to spend 8+ years in development.

For now, we'll just put this under yet another "prospective five-stars". The potential is here, all that's left is to execute on it, and I eagerly hope it does.

A unique sexy romp with plenty of choices to fit your kink, but no so many choices that it takes ages to do everything (see all the slow ass life sims on this site). The combat is fairly well designed, but not too involved which is what I want in a porn game. There seems to be plenty of content new content per update, and the game is being developed at a reasonable pace. Keepup the good work.

One of the better HTML "real porn" games and it's only on version 2. The option to have either submissive or dominant leading scenes throughout the entire game is nice as an initial choice and for following playthroughs. Looking forward to cuckquean content and more femdom!

Lots of potential, but not much content yet. I was able to exhaust it in a few hours. Still has several formatting errors and typos, but what are you going to do about that?
The entire concept is unique, and it's enough to let me see past the "Real Porn" use the game has. And for some reason, the dev decided to try and cook with an actual storyline. I hope this goes far.

Totally agree with the other reviews. No way you'd think this being just a V0.2 release. Consistent world, choice of actions, good sexy clips both dominant or submissive pending on your personal preferences, background story which slowly unwraps. Can't wait to play the next releases.

Really great start. Fun and interesting battle mechanics and good pacing overall that doesn't overstay it's welcome. Wasn't a fan of the "forced" futa play, but easy enough to click through. Very promising start, looking forward to the continued development!

Very immersive Game with multiple options. I have mainly tried Femdom and NTR Oriented choices and they are bang on. Narration is great, fighting with the succubus is also very interactive and exciting. Models chosen are hot and fapable. This game has the potential to become "Legendary!!" once it becomes large. Currently it is short but still worth playing.

Excellent start. Normally don't bother with HTML games but this one hits the spot. The writing is superior, the premises are unique and the scenea are well matched with their real scenes. Wish there was a bit more to gameplay but it's still early days. The fact that you can play it online is a cherry on top. Good luck, dev.

For an HTML game, this one has a solid foundation all around: story setting, dialogue and grammar, and even gameplay (which is usually more of an afterthought compared to other HTML games like this). I'll definitely keep my eye on this one.

Really enjoyed it so far, there are a few bugs but easy to overlook in a first version of the game, really enjoyed that the routes are not hardlocked and are based on stats. Look forward to next release!

A really good start. although lacking a bit rn (Would like to see more gifs and not mostly images) but it has a great base and the potential for a really good game is there so staying positive and hopeful for the future of the game!

Pretty great start, definitely looking forward to seeing where you take this. The mechanics and premise seem solid, and there's plenty of potential. I very much appreciate a game of this type that puts a decent focus on the more dominant side of things for the player, as opposed to being primarily focused on the sub side with dom options as an afterthought.

The biggest complaint I have is that buttons can often be somewhat unresponsive, sometimes taking multiple clicks to register. I'm not entirely sure why this is, it might even be an issue on my end although other Twine games haven't caused this issue. It creates a bit of annoyance in combat, as that involves multiple choices in fairly rapid succession, so the delays compound.

Otherwise, a very promising start. Can't wait for more!

Very fun little game right now and promising, with a simpler conceit than Corruption Hero, less grindy, and great models. Really excited to see where it goes. Will follow very closely and looking forward to upcoming updates.
